En mi diario de hoy:

Hoy muy contenta de participar en esta nuestra comunidad, el día de ayer salí al mercado en busca de alimentos para gatos, en este caso una gatarina para nuestro querido gatito Katire, fue una mañana bastante soleada, con mucho calor; pero de igual manera me puse mi tapabocas y decidí ir al mercado a la zona más popular de la ciudad.

In my diary today:

Today I am very happy to participate in our community, yesterday I went to the market in search of cat food, in this case a cat food for our beloved kitten Katire, it was a sunny morning, very hot, but I put on my mask and decided to go to the market to the most popular area of the city.

Después del desayuno salí al mercado, fue bastante temprano y a pesar del sol estaba muy concurrido, muchas personas se dan cita allí todos los días para tratar de buscar los mejores precios en las comidas y ofertas en verduras, vegetales, carnes y demás... en este lugar fue que decidí ir a comprar un poco de alimento para gatos; ya que ahí hay diferencias de precios y de productos.

After breakfast I went out to the market, it was quite early and despite the sun it was very crowded, many people go there every day to try to find the best prices on food and offers on vegetables, meats and others... in this place I decided to go to buy some cat food; since there are differences in prices and products.

Una de las cosas que observé mientras buscaba el alimento para gatos, es que en el mercado existen muchos animales; creo que no tienen dueño o son de la zona... observé perros, gatos son los más comunes! los hay de todos los colores, formas y tamaños; en esta foto por ejemplo iba pasando una gata o gato y algunas personas los maltrataban diciéndole que se fueran de ese lugar o le arrojaban agua.

One of the things I observed while I was looking for cat food, is that in the market there are many animals; I think they don't have owners or they are from the area... I observed dogs, cats are the most common! there are of all colors, shapes and sizes; in this photo for example a cat was passing by and some people mistreated them telling them to leave that place or throwing water on them.

En el mercado existen diferentes tipos de alimentos; pero el que más predomina es para perros, me di cuenta que solamente estaba un paquete de alimentos para gatos y aunque buscaba era para gatos bebé (de 2 meses porque nuestro Katire es pequeño) terminé comprando un kilo de gatarina para gatos, aquí en casa nos encargamos de humedecerlo con agua o con caldo de patas de pollo, o sardinas...debido a su condición no puede comer alimentos muy sólidos.

In the market there are different types of food; but the most predominant is for dogs, I realized that there was only one package of cat food and although I was looking for it was for baby cats (2 months old because our Katire is small) I ended up buying a kilo of cat food, here at home we take care to moisten it with water or chicken feet broth, or sardines ... due to his condition he can not eat very solid food.

Estos son los animales que frecuentan esa zona del mercado, en realidad y desde el fondo de mi corazón, me gustaría que existiesen personas que ayudaran o adoptaran a estos animalitos de la calle, realmente son seres vivos que merecen también nuestro respeto y nuestro amor! no sé si estaban perdidos o simplemente viven allí, pero observé que había una cantidad exagerada de animalitos en la zona del mercado, tal vez personas irresponsables no se ocupan de ellos y termiran corriendo hacia esta zona donde puedan encontrar algo para comer.

These are the animals that frequent that area of the market, actually and from the bottom of my heart, I wish there were people who help or adopt these street animals, they really are living beings that deserve our respect and love! I do not know if they were lost or just live there, but I noticed that there was an exaggerated amount of animals in the market area, perhaps irresponsible people do not take care of them and end up running to this area where they can find something to eat.
