Animal Contest: Tell Us About Animal Transport
Good day Steemians, it's such a good day to be alive, so today, I will be sharing in this contest my own view on Animal Transport and the reasons behind my views. Please stay calm and follow me on this brief journey.
Is Animal Transport Available In Your Area?
Nigeria, which is my homeland has developed drastically and to be sincere, I have never heard or seen animal transportation in my state apart from once I went to a beach and get to see a horse decorated for aesthetic.
Secondly, the southern part of Nigeria has been so developed that we only have vehicles for conveyance and I have not by any chance seen animals used as a transport medium before. I have just been hearing that the Northern part of Nigeria still uses animals such as donkeys for transport but then, I am yet to see one.
Do You Think Animal Transportation Is Legal Or Illegal?
I don't think the use of Donkeys, Camels and Horses as means of transportation is illegal except otherwise. Because even on Television, I have been seeing horse riders competing with eachother and even donkeys compete (Donkey Pageantry) with each other in United Arab Emirates, if it was an illegal act, probably, they would've been arrested or maybe fined.
Secondly, I think the use of animals aside of Donkey, Camel or Horses are considered illegal as they do not have the strength for such task, so the use of other animals for transportation apart from the one listed above is illegal.
Do You Think The Use Of Animals As Transport Should Be Stopped? Why?
Honestly, to me, I will say NO but there should be a regulation to that effect. Firstly, animals are living thing, so if anyone owns any of the three animals for transport, a certain distance should be set inorder for the animal not to be overworked.
Secondly, the loads these transporting animals carry should be accessed by authorities and certain amount of load should be assign for transporting animals. In this sense, animal abuse will be eradicated in that aspect.
Tell Us About Transportation That Can Be Used Instead Of Animals
Technology has really evolved and we are not in the 19th century, transport innovations has been made available for use instead of continuing with the use of animals as long distant transportation. Helicopters, aeroplane, ships and the likes should be use for long distant transportation instead of animals.
Moreso, for short distant transportation, bicycle, scooters and motorbikes should be used. We should evolve with the technological age and not overstress these animals because of our own pleasure and comfort.

You make a very good point that animal transport should be stopped. In this era of the fourth industrial revolution, I consider animal transport to be unwise. In spite of the many advantages of present transportation, animal transportation is inappropriate. Animal transport is time consuming and old method. Dumb animals are abused in animal transport.
