          INTRODUCTION

Hello friends of steem of animals, it is an exciting feeling to write about food extracted from animals.

Animal-derived foods are those foods that are extracted from animals. Foods extracted from animals are known to be very nutritious and help in body building. It is very important for us as humans to balance our diets, and one of the important class of food is the protein, vitamins and minerals.

Foods gotten from animals are very rich in proteins and vitamins. They help in building and it should be included in our daily diet. Examples of animal-derived foods are; Pork, chicken, beef, chevon, fish, snail, cheese, eggs, turkey, yoghurt, oyster etc. All these animal derived foods are nutritious and balances up our diet.

What is your favorite animal-derived food?

Choosing my favourite animal derived food is quite very hard. This is because I have three animal-derived foods that I enjoy eating and they are also my favourite food. These are my favourite animal-derived foods:

Pork: Gotten from pig, this meat is a very nutritious and palatable one. It is rich in protein, vitamins, minerals and fats and oil. I really love eating pork and it tops my list in the favourite food from animals. Though it has to be prepared well and it's intake should be moderated and balanced.

Chicken: chicken which is rich in protein is a wonderful meat gotten from poultry. I love eating grilled chicken with plantain or yam. I enjoy eating it for its nutritional value and being delicious.

Eggs: Also gotten from poultry, eggs are known to be high in Protein, they provide vitamins, minerals and other source of nutritious value. I eat 1 egg everyday. It helps to boost the body and give it the best nutritional value.

Where do you get this food from?

Pork is gotten from pig. The pig is dressed and washed well. The meat should be properly cooked to avoid worms. Pork could be added in our food or just eaten without anything.

Chicken meat is gotten from chicken and it is highly nutritious. It can be added to a variety of foods.

Eggs are gotten from poultry too.

Tell about the nutritional value of the food?

Pork is a highly nutritious meat that is high in protein. In fact it is advisable to eat a properly cooked pork. It is not only high in vitamins, minerals, fats and oils...This meat is very nutritious for the body.

Chicken is also known to be high in protein and it is very good for the body. An intake of chicken is very advisable for our meals.

Eggs are high in proteins, vitamins and minerals, making it very good for the overall well-being of the body.

What do you think is the healthiest animal derived food? Why?

Personally, my healthiest animal derived food is egg. It is a complete package of protein, minerals and vitamins...not excluding other nutritional values. Eggs are very healthy for the body, though lean meats like chicken and turkeys are also good mentions. But I prefer eggs. I choose to eat eggs everyday too.
