En esta oportunidad me animé a participar en este concurso para integrarme a ustedes y además hablar de mi animal/mascota favorito.
En lo particular me encantan los animales, además, me parece que este concurso te da la oportunidad de investigar más fondo acerca de ellos para conocerlos y entenderlos.
En mi caso, mi animal favorito son los gatos, y aunque en algunas culturas como la egipcia los gatos son adorados como dioses no en todos lados son vistos así y muchas veces sufren de desprecios y maltratos por parte del ser humano, y es importante conocer su valiosa presencia en el mundo por lo que nos pueden brindar y ayudar en casa.

This time I decided to participate in this contest to join you and also to talk about my favorite animal/pet.
In particular I love animals, besides, I think this contest gives you the opportunity to investigate more about them to know and understand them.
In my case, my favorite animal are cats, and although in some cultures like the Egyptian one, cats are worshiped as gods, not everywhere they are seen like that and many times they suffer from scorn and mistreatment by humans, and it is important to know their valuable presence in the world because of what they can give us and help us at home.
¿Cuál es el tipo de su animal (mascotas/animales salvajes, etc.)
Mi tipo de animal favorito desde siempre han sido los gatos, me gustan muchísimo, porque son la combinación de los dos mundos mascota-salvaje. Ellos pueden ser muy dóciles pero nunca pierden su instinto cazador.
Cuéntanos información sobre el animal.
Los gatos, son animales domésticos, son la subespecie domesticada del gato Montés. Ha sido útil desde siempre en el control de plagas como roedores y otros animales perjudiciales para el ser humano y es por ello que lo hace un compañero ideal. En algunos países y culturas del mundo se le veneran desde tiempos ancestrales como, Egipto y el Islam, por las creencias e historias del profeta Maoma con ellos. Han sido animales muy presentes en la vida del ser humano y por ende su historia e importancia deben ser respetados y conocidos por el mundo.
What is the type of your animal (pets/wild animals, etc.)?
My favorite type of animal has always been cats, I like them very much, because they are the combination of the two worlds pet-wild. They can be very docile but never lose their hunting instinct.
Tell us some information about the animal.
Cats are domestic animals, they are the domesticated subspecies of the wildcat. It has always been useful in controlling pests such as rodents and other animals harmful to humans and that is why it makes an ideal companion. In some countries and cultures of the world they are venerated since ancient times such as Egypt and Islam, for the beliefs and stories of the prophet Maoma with them. They have been animals very present in the life of the human being and therefore their history and importance should be respected and known by the world.

¿Estos animales también se encuentran en otros países?
Sí, de hecho, me atrevo a afirmar que en todo el mundo hay especies de gatos. Mi raza favorita es "Maine Coon", una raza de gatos gigantes originarios de América del Norte, son dóciles, inteligentes y con grandes habilidades de caza. Poseen un hermoso pelaje y unas orejas con pelos puntiagudos que los haces resaltar entre otras razas.
Para qué sirve la mascota animal (club deportivo, país, etc.)
En ocasiones he visto utilizar a los leones, tigres o pumas, que son felinos no domesticados en logotipos de marcas famosas, como: Leones del Caracas (Equipo venezolano de béisbol), Puma (Marca de calzado deportivo), MGM (Tiene en su logo un león, y es uno de los logos más famosos del cine por décadas), y así podría seguir. Sin embargo, hasta ahora no he visto a alguna empresa importante o reconocida que tenga gatos como representantes de su imagen.
Menciona sus características y filosofía para que se convierta en mascota.
Los gatos son animales:
- Audaces
- Inteligentes
- Cazadores
- Curiosos
Tienen buen sentido de la visión, del oído, del olfato. Y la historia que conlleva con ellos los hace el animal perfecto para un logotipo, creo que uno personal sería, que ellos siempre caen de pie.
Y ese debería ser el impulso y el lema de cualquiera, aunque caigas hazlo de pie, nunca te dejes derrotar, sé audaz para buscar ideas, sé inteligente para dar las mejores publicaciones y el mejor contenido, ten la curiosidad de aprender nuevas cosas, y sé el mejor compañero para tu prójimo.
Are these animals also found in other countries?
Yes, in fact, I dare say that there are cat species all over the world. My favorite breed is "Maine Coon", a breed of giant cats originating in North America, they are docile, intelligent and with great hunting skills. They have a beautiful coat and ears with pointed hairs that make them stand out among other breeds.
What is the animal mascot for (sports club, country, etc.)?
Sometimes I have seen lions, tigers or pumas, which are non-domesticated felines, used in logos of famous brands, such as: Leones del Caracas (Venezuelan baseball team), Puma (Sports shoe brand), MGM (It has in its logo a lion, and it is one of the most famous logos in cinema for decades), and so I could go on. However, so far I have not seen any major or recognized company that has cats as representatives of its image.
Mention its characteristics and philosophy for it to become a mascot.
Cats are animals:
- Bold
- Intelligent
- Hunters
- Curious
They have a good sense of sight, hearing and smell. And the history that goes with them makes them the perfect animal for a logo, I think a personal one would be, they always land on their feet.
And that should be anyone's drive and motto, even if you fall do it standing up, never let yourself be defeated, be bold to look for ideas, be smart to give the best publications and the best content, be curious to learn new things, and be the best partner for your fellow man.

Los felinos son magníficos, me identifico con ellos en especial con el León y la Pantera, pero tengo es un gato jejejejeje....es la realidad y lo mas cerca de los grandes felinos que puedo tener.
Símbolo de fortaleza y poder...misterio! entre otras cosas.
