Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S18 - W2: which is all time my favourite topic “Lushka, you will be missed!" So, in this post I am going to share my point of view about this topic.
The pain of losing someone close to us is very difficult. Sometimes it becomes very difficult to bear it. Whether it is a member of our family or a pet animal of our house. Because when we keep an animal in our house, we serve it, take care of it, love it a lot and take care of its food and drink.
From cleanliness to everything. He also showers the same love on the family, so he becomes like a family member. With whom you spend your time 24 hours and if one day he suddenly leaves you or some untoward incident happens to him, then it is heart breaking.
I do not have any pet animal in my house. My children love to keep a dog at home. But I always refuse, because when I go to the shop, children go to school, you cannot take him with you everywhere, so he will be alone at home the whole day. So just like a human needs someone all the time, needs food and water, similarly an animal also needs them and if you cannot take care of someone properly, then you do not have the right to take responsibility of them.
Because when I think that if I leave the house, the animal will be left alone, then the animals also get upset. They also wait for everyone, they also have to play. They also have the same feelings of love, sadness, anger, as a human has. That is why I never agree to keep a pet.
In my neighborhood, two-three houses have pets. My children play with them a lot, take them for a walk, play ball with them. Once, 3 years ago, a dog died. My son was so attached to it that he was not able to forget it. My younger son used to play with it so much that when the dog died, my child was sad for a week. He was neither eating nor drinking anything.
I was just remembering him again and again. Because my son was also very young, so he also did not understand that much. So remembering that time, I do not allow my children to keep pets. Because you develop an emotional attachment with them. So I do not want to see my children going through this situation.
One reason for not keeping a dog is that it will increase my work and will also affect the studies of the children. Because nowadays children do not have time for coaching, school and now they will insist to bring a dog home. But I will have to do all the work of his dog. Because my children will only play with him, when you keep anyone, then a lot of work gets done with him and I really do not have time. Because after household chores, going to the shop, the rest of the time I spend on the Steemit platform, so when I cannot fulfill hundred percent responsibility with someone, then I do not take responsibility.
I have told my children that when you grow up and have the courage to serve someone and do all the work from A to Z, then only think of adopting one. Because we will have to take care of everything from its food to its health, to the health of our house. If we adopt an animal. I believe that pets are very loyal, but still I cannot keep any animal in my house right now.
But in the future, there will definitely be a dog in my house because both my children love dogs. Let's see later whether the children bring one or not.
