SEC - S18W4 : Animal Welfare
Assalamu Alaikum, Animals are a unique component of biodiversity. Different parts of animals are used in many of our activities. Do we really care about the advantages or disadvantages of those animals? Today I am going to share my thoughts on this engagement challenge.
What do you think about the use of animals for human benefit, such as in the fashion, entertainment and consumer goods industries?
There is a saying for the benefit of the 18 thousand creations of God. I have heard that when I went to stop a bird hunter from hunting a bird. I just tried to make him understand that Allah has given us many other ingredients for sustenance, we try and eat them to save this biodiversity. We are always wronging animals that we can do in other ways. Yes we cannot torture animals to enjoy our life. I am not particularly in favor of the captivity of wild animals as by keeping them in zoos we are disrupting their normal lives in the name of entertainment. We do not eat wild animals for consumption and we eat domesticated animals which are lawful for us by Allah's command and animal laws but not wild animals.
What do you think about the use of animal products in everyday life such as leather, fur and ivory?
We use fur skins from animals like cows or the skins we slaughter and eat. I don't use ivory but this ivory nose ornament is available I think there is a law for it which is illegal.
Considering animal welfare and the environment, many people are choosing alternatives to animal products. I think we need to raise more awareness to reduce cruelty to wild animals and sustain biodiversity. Our awareness can be a boon to animals and the environment.
What can people do to protect animals from exploitation?
Animals are a powerful part of our biodiversity. Humane treatment of our animals is imperative. To protect animals from exploitation, we must be humane and aware of animal cruelty laws. It is very urgent to create animal sanctuaries which can provide safety to animals To make all the people around us, friends and family, aware of animal exploitation so that no one treats animals unfairly. Cultivating love for animals and being kind can encourage people to develop friendly relationships with animals.

Friend abdul-rakib, you are right in saying that Alac gave us specific animals for our consumption, and that wild animals should be respected.
Illegal poaching has caused some animals to be in danger of extinction. Guidance and teaching for people take into account how important it is to take care of animals.

hola amigo tu punto de vista es muy interesante según lo planteas por que hay animales que son para el consumo humano tenemos el ejemplo de que el león solo come carne de animales como la cebra y otros que son para que se respeten y se cuiden como podria decir las focas y las jirafas son animales que deben protegerse y sus espacios tambien por que son esenciales en la vida del planeta .

Animals are a beautiful creation without any doubt, we must make people aware of their care and welfare, because some people only hunt animals for sport or hobbit, this is very wrong.
