RE: Extracting Screenshots from Nintendo Switch
Oh my! Nintendo really doesn't want you doing it that way. Just like Apple.
Personally I love the physical memory options, and hope they keep making physical cartridges for all major games. Without it, Nintendo has too much ownership of the games, preventing me from enjoy collecting, trading, and selling.
I usually spam my screenshots to Twitter, using the built-in share options, and download them from there. After I post a couple, Twitter usually asks me to verify my account again. It is actually pretty difficult to type in my password on the Switch version of Twitter, because it hides the input characters, and does not store the password. It annoys me to the point of insanity.
Honestly, I don't use Twitter for anything else nowadays.
Not my preferred method. If Nintendo would allow me to send screenshots directly to my email that would make far too much sense!
It is good that Nintendo allows us to do this without having to buy their Nintendo Online account. If they offered a simpler way to send screenshots, I might be more tempted to pay the $20 annual fee.
I do like the idea of the resale value of the physical cartridges... but they are such a pain in the arse to keep swapping in and out!
Wow, you take a completely different route to get the screenshots... It is a pain in the arse... but I think I'm pretty lazy in not just removing the SD card! First world problem... but emailing them would be really handy... after all, there is an internet connection!
