Greetings to all beloved steemians.

Before i continue let me acknowledged the presence of Mr. Jephthah the BOSS @bossj23 for making me part of this great family.

It's yet another great week with great topic "poverty can it be Reduced? How? to express my opinion on the subject matter POVERTY. Without wasting much of your precious time let dive in......

POVERTY is simply referred as,a situation where some individuals can't afford basic needs. Or could be seeing as a condition where individuals are unable to acquire or afford basic needs such as Shelter, clothing, sound education and food. Poverty has affected many globally.

-High inflation rate; As prices of commodities increase affects many while just few benefits from it. The people in lower class or the middle class set of people find it difficult to afford their basic needs because of high price of commodities in the market.

• Unemployment; Lack of employment opportunities is another cause of POVERTY. The number of people seeking for employment have increasing in higher rate than the employment opportunities we had in our society today, this will be minimize if the government create more jobs to it's citizens. So unemployment has great impact on POVERTY.

• Lack of sound education; Although is not everyone without education that is living below poverty line but almost all poor people can't afford education because the money to buy school uniform, school Levy, course of purchasing text book, and many more factors hinder poor people from going to school which makes them to remain in abject poverty. So lack of education has a great impact on POVERTY.

• Over population; The higher the number of people, the more poorer others became if their government couldn't create more jobs opportunities.

• Changes in climate; bad effect of climate is when there's little water (drought) that is when farmers can't plant more to feed the nation or over rain (flooding) this can cause people to flew away from their house to other places as refugees after flooding Wash away their belongings, crops and many more.

In the year 2022 some parts of Nigeria experience flooding which render some homeless, some fatherless, some motherless some end up in refugee camp. Life will start a new dimension starting from scratch if they are farmers depends only on farm produce for survival.

• Health; Due to poverty mentality they are likely to experience alot of health challenges including child mortality, mental illness and many more. they may likely receive inadequate treatment and inadequate nutrition in children.

• Criminality ; poor people are mostly responsible for street crimes like armed robbery, burglary, picking pocket, and many more. are all it's consequences.

• Family challenges; poor people are more likely to experience family challenges like domestic violence, divorce and many more.

Although, Even in Rich home there's domestic violence, divorce but people in poor home's there's more intensity of challenges.

• Education; poor kids go to school with less adequate facilities including pen and paper, mathematical set, text books and many more. Which may like cause them to drop out of school.

• Not having a home; poor people are more likely to not have a better house to live, they are mostly seen living in dilapidated homes because they can't theirs

-POVERTY alleviation to my own knowledge it's not what a single individual can handle but it should be organized and enforce by the government where as they should make education more cheaper and accessible to both the Rich and the poor.

• Skill acquisitions is One thing that help alleviate poverty by training people who have quality education but don't have a skill (hand work) that can earn them money because certificate is not guarantee to success but by training them with good skills can help.

• Building for the poor is a factor that will go a long way to alleviate poverty in some extent to help those who are homeless.

• Giving of seedlings to Farmers free of charge and portion of land for cultivation as an empowerment program can also help.

• When there's enough in the market everything will be cheap to reach of both Rich and poor. Because the higher the commodity the lower the demand but the lower the commodity the higher the demand. So government should make their responsibility and their concern to make food surpluse to the common man

Personally, i equipped those around me with skills that can help them be financially dependent. some of this skills include making them to learn how to lay block to master it and be dependent because that's how i empower people in my own little way.

If you think that learning a skill is a long process then be doing only serving you could be earning daily as you work.

i also encourage helping of one another by helping people as means of setting an example.

STEEMIT, can help alleviate POVERTY if at all is an offline organization but it's not because you must have money to purchase a phone,you must have money to buy Data and so on.

but to those who are able to afford all the necessary things required to work on steemit platform will be alleviated from POVERTY if all the rules and regulations guiding steemit are not broken it will surely help alleviate but one have a to put on garments of persistence and patience to achieve the success awaiting him in future.
