Drawing Challenge - Butterfly 🦋 on a flower

Butterflies are really cool insects that are so beautiful. Today I would love to talk about these exciting insects, so let's get started.....

Butterflies

These are very beautiful insects that are so colorful, everywhere a person to goes butterflies must be there, but what should we know about these amazing butterflies?

Butterflies have six legs, an antennae and the body that comprises of the head, thorax and the abdomen, they also have four wings. Both the wings and the legs are attached to the thorax. These butterflies have specific organs on their legs which enables them to taste food, butterflies do not have any part of their body that bites or chews, they only have a tube like organ that enables them to eat.

A Butterfly's wing is coated with scales, which makes it the only insect that has scales, those scales reflect only one color, as the butterflies become older, the wings become ragged and the scales tend to fall off. Butterflies feed on the nectar that is gotten from flowers or leaves, and many plants rely on them to transfer pollen grains.
The Monarch butterfly is the only butterfly to break the record of flying 2500 miles, to avoid freezing conditions.

A Butterfly's metamorphosis begins as an egg which is laid on a leaf or plant, then over time a larva comes out of the egg, when hatched out, the larva feeds on leaves until it is a thousand times bigger than its original size, then it transforms into a pupae which a turn produces a beautiful butterfly.
When a larva turns into a pupae it avoids being eaten by birds, so it acts like a dead leaf, that acting protects it from danger.

Butterflies are very interested creatures to look Into, and no amount of time will be enough to completely study all the species of butterflies that we have.

Step1

I started by drawing the body of the butterfly, which was easy as you can see .

Step2

Then I advanced to the wings, shaping the wings were kind of hard, then the next part was designing the wings, that was being able to indicate where the different colors will be ..

Step3

As I went on I completed the wings and then began drawing the flowers or the plant which the butterfly was perching on. After that, I used the black pen to make it more clearer..

Then the time came for the finale, the coloring of the image, as I colored it carefully,.it came out, and there it was, so beautiful !!

That was simply how drawing the butterfly was, it was so cool. We can see that butterflies are very good good insects that help in the propagating of seeds that enhances agricultural production.....
