The diary game || [14-06-2023] || Attending the Steem kids & parents second year anniversary.
Yesterday was really an exciting day for me, getting to witness the Steem kids & parents anniversary was a huge privilege to me, I will be sharing how everything went from start to finish.

Waking up to a clear weather is the best thing that could happen to anyone with an intention to go somewhere important, so after doing my morning chores for the day, I took my bath, dressed up and headed to school first, because I had a class to attend. The class ended around 1pm and after the class, I called @bossj23 as he was the one who invited me to the event.
Unfortunately, bossj23 wasn't around to pick me up, but he did send someone else, we boarded a bus and headed to the ifa big junction at oron road, it was a 30minutes journey, on reaching there I met with @bossj23, @whizzbro4eva who where already waiting for us, then we waited for @usoro01 and when she arrived we entered another ride to he founders house.
Locating the place was quite tough, but we eventually got there, on reaching there, the event was just about to start, that's where I was opportune to meet @mesola, @powereye, @okere-blessing, @ngoenyi the founder herself and @ben33. The event kick started few minutes later, we had the opening prayers said by @ben33 and an Introduction speech by the founder, after wish refreshments started trooping in, less I forget I was also opportune to meet most steemians online like @josepha and many more.
The was plenty of things to eat, biscuits, wines, chicken, groundnuts, garden egg and of course the cake, it was a very fun event I must say.

Let me end by saying a big thank you to @ngoenyi, the founder of steem kids and parents for welcoming me yesterday, it was of course of great privilege to meet with you, I must admit steem kids and parents has really been supporting my posts and getting to meet with the founder herself was a huge privilege for me, although we didn't really have time to talk much, I hope we get to meet again, I will love to learn one or two from you ma.
Congrats once again to steem kids & parents for celebrating their second year anniversary, I pray God keeping taking you guys higher and higher, Amen.
It's wonderful to start your day with clear weather, especially when you have important plans ahead. After completing your morning chores, you got ready and headed to school for your class. It must have been a productive session. Although @bossj23 couldn't pick you up personally, it's great that he arranged for someone else to assist you. The bus journey to ifa big junction on oron road sounds like a convenient way to reach your destination.
Meeting up with @bossj23 and @whizzbro4eva, and later on with @usoro01, must have added to the excitement of the day. Locating the venue might have been a bit challenging, but you eventually made it, just in time for the event to begin. It's fantastic that you had the opportunity to meet several Steemians in person, including @mesola, @powereye, @okere-blessing, @ngoenyi (the founder), and @ben33. The event sounds like it was filled with positive energy and camaraderie.
The variety of refreshments available, such as biscuits, wines, chicken, groundnuts, garden egg, and, of course, the cake, must have made the event even more enjoyable. Cutting the cake together must have been a memorable moment. It's great that you managed to capture some pictures with both the founder and your fellow attendees.
My question to you is: What was the most memorable part of the event for you?
Woah, I'm very much delighted in the fact that you took out time to thoroughly read my post, well yes you are right the event was filled with positive energy, and my meeting up with steemians was really an opportunity for me
To your question, everything about the even was memorable, but I'll say the most memorable part was when we all cut the cake together. A couple of communities where mentioned while our hands where on the knife and at the mention of steem kids and parents we all cut the cake together.

Honestly intially when I got to the I was just like oh God let's see how it goes, but along the line everything got more interesting and very educating and meeting everyone was so nice, the hospitality was so good and I had to align with this great family so every part of the event was so memorable and I won't forget about.
It was nice having to see you around sir, indeed it was a memorable day and I won't forget as well.
I'm already looking forward to the next anniversary
