Dear diary,

Today being Friday happens to be a "Good Friday", a day before Easter Sunday set aside by christians to honour the memory of the passion, crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ as written in the Bible.

Morning Activity

Waking up this morning, I felt relived because there's to be no school activities today. Don't get me wrong, I love school but lately, school work has been so much and I really needed this break, a day without having to go up and down attending lectures from 8:00am to 6:00am.

I woke up quite late, at about 8:42am which was late because, though there was no school today, I had to be in church to attend the good Friday service which was to hold by 9:00am.

Waking up that late, I was in a great rush to take my bath, prepare and get ready for the service. I rushed a breakfast of bread and tea and by the time I was ready and prepared to leave it was 9:19am. Since I attend Qua Iboe Church, an Orthodox church which is a little far from school, I had to pay my way there inorder to make it on time to hear the sermon.
The sermon which was taken from 1 Peter 2:24 was quite short and centered on the blessing and essence of good Friday. The service ended at about 10:32am. After the service, I decided to take some pictures for memories, I also took some with a brother and friend of mine.

After taking pictures and all, it was already 11:08, so I decided to head home.

Afternoon Activity

Since I wasn't in a haste to meet up with anything at, I decided to walk back as opposed to paying my way they. It was quite a long walk but it was fun in the company of friends. I finally reached home at about 12:02pm, I was tired from the walk. I took a quick bath and slept off without lunch.

I woke up around 3:36pm and decided complete a movie I started seeing the previous week which is titled "Moonshot", a 2022 movie from the romantic comedy genre with a little sci-fi twist based on Mars and a future there.

I think you should see it, the movie was both interesting and captivating with excellent graphics.

Evening Activity

Later in the evening, I was visited by a close friend who thought to stop by with some food. It was her first time preparing coconut rice so she decided I tried and it was really yummy.

We talked for some time and she left around 6:50pm inorder to reach home before it gets too dark.

After eating, I took my bath around 8:01pm and read my books afterwards. I was able to read with good understand and assimilation. Around 10:00pm, I took a break to pen this down. Hopefully, after posting this out here, I will take a quick rest and hope to wake up to read some more.
It was really a restful and interesting day compared to the previous days.
