Greetings friends!! Hope all of my steemian friends are fine by the grace of Lord. Today I am going to take part in the creativity related contest organized by @m-fdo. Many thanks to dear @m-fdo for giving us such an opportunity to show our creativity..

Introduction

Today I will show you how to make a little fan using leaf of date palm. This is very nice, creative & easy to make. This work help improve creativity of kids.

Let's make it...

Requirements:

Substance	Amount
Date leaf	1
Date thorn	1
Scissors	1

♦ Step 1: Take a date leaf. I have used scissors to cut the leaf from the tree as the leaves are hearty enough. Divide the leaf longitudinally & thus remove the middle vein of the leaf.

♦ Step 2: Take the leaf separated parts together & fold in same position. The folding point is at the slender side of the leaf & it is one third of the leaf length.

♦ Step 3: Now keep one folded part inside the other folded part.

♦ Step 4: Enter the lower portion of one folded part inside the other folded part. Thus a new fold is arising as you see in the picture.

♦ Step 5: Enter the lower portion of other folded part inside the newly formed fold.

♦ Step 6: Now four arms are formed. Pull the arms & press to tie up the central point.

♦ Step 7: Equal the four arms by cutting with scissors.
Steb the pointed portion of the thorn into the junction of the tied point. Now the fan is ready.

The fan is revolved when you blow with mouth.

How did you get the idea?

-- I have got the idea from my childhood memory. We used to make such fan during our cute childhood in village.

How useful is what you have made?

--The leaf fan is very amazing natural toy for kids. When they run with this fan in hand, it revolves with speed. It is very easy to make with simple things collected from nature.

Which kid did you inspire or do you intend to inspire and help develop the creativity?

--I have inspired my little brother to make this toy as it will enhance his creative thinking. I also want to inspire all the kids to create this nice fan..
