To forgive is a very great act, whenever we forgive those that wronged and hurts,we shouldn't hold grudges. Your mother must be an angel in disguise, I'm glad that all of you were able to forgive your dad because of his bad behavior although he still seems distant, don't worry you have done your part and I believe you are at peace with yourself.
