SEC17 WK:#3: large and small families, likes and dislikes
Greetings Steemians, I hope you're in health. Spacial appreciation to the administrative team of the Steem Kids & Parents community, dor an amazing contest thus far.

A family is a group of people bound by blood. These people share similarities in genetic make up, blood group amongst others. Family have various types that includes; nuclear and extended family amongst others. Nuclear family is the smallest unit of a family as it's comprised of just father, mother and their children.
Over different generation and decades, the pattern and family system has evolved due to the standard of life in each decade, era (as the case may apply). Predominantly in the last century, Nuclear family had to be large as the number of children a man had equated the man's wealth.
This would mean the man would have more farmland worked on as the predominant source of revenue in those days was farming or rearing of animals. So a man would want to give birth to as many children as possible to support the family work. Moving over to recent times, we have very few families in farming, the very few who farm appreciate peasant farming that takes care of their immediate need and not for sale and it's in reduced quantities as compared to the previous times.
The economic conditions of today trimmed the number of children, as you're now only trying to give birth to the very few you'll be able to properly cater for, although this isn't always the case. A nuclear family poses a more intimate relationship between members of the family, however the size of the family can play a significant role.
One challenge of a small family is that there's usually more responsibility while a larger group would have more hands for work, so when there's a task or responsibility there's usually a lot of hands so it makes it easier as this larger group has to do little as opposed to the the smaller group.
The advantages of a small family is that there's usually a few persons to cater for and it makes it easier for resources to get to everyone. With the present state of the economy of most nations, having a small family is a better financial relief to a large family. It's easier to meet the needs of the family members in a smaller house today than a larger house where one might have to forfeit for the other in order for the family to thrive and survive.
A large family has more hands and individuals to talk to, seek help, advise, support, experience from as these are all key factors in the modern day. A smaller unit has more bond, it's easy to meet the emotional, psychological, social demands of each member of the family.

Judging by the present economic situation in my country, I'll prefer to raise a smaller unit, so that the little or much that comes in can be easily allocated to the family, as well as the closeness that comes from the association.

It also allows for better attention to our children, I see you've decided to have three children. Even though you are open to a small family size, I know it still comes with its challenges, but it also provides more time to be there for everyone. In order to create a happy and prosperous family, the family should be kept small. If the family is big, then in most cases there will be sorrow and suffering.
It is not only a family that has to suffer, but the national life also suffers. So I always prefer the small family. Because here the advantages are more noticeable than the disadvantages.

It's interesting reading through your post, you talked about the advantages of having a small family, that it will not stress you on how to Carter for a group of people, rather for just a few persons especially as the economy of the country is hitting on everybody.
So once has to be wise when it comes to decisions like this.
