While reading your memories about the events understandably we have a smile on our face, but on other hand the first thought is what I would have done in such situation. Nobody knows because everything happens suddenly and we react spontaneously. You mastered very well the accident with your shoe heel but I am pretty sure you were gorgeous especially without any shoes and it was the best decision that anyone could have made.
As to your children, I am pretty sure they had a lot of fun but despite of such situation we still love them and this moment you definitely never forget :)
