Here I will be making my power up summary post for the week.

Before we proceed, let's look at what power up is, it's importance and benefits.

WHAT IS POWER UP

Power up is simply an act of coverting liquid Steem coins to SP in other to gain influence on the Steemit platform. It can also be regarded as a process of Staking Steem in other to earn incentives.

BENEFITS OF POWER UP

There are several benefits of power up and they include;

• Increased influence on Steemit platform.

Power up gives users much influence on the Steemit platfrom due to their increased Steem Power which will allow them to reward and encourage other content creators on the platform.

• It serves as a form of savings

Power up helps in making savings as it discourages users from selling of their coins unless in times of serious emergency.

• It allow users to earn passive income

Power up allow users to earn passive income on their staked Steem and the incentive increases with an increase in staked Steem.

• It helps in the growth of the platform

Power up encourages growth of Steem growth and appreciation.

There are other benefits of power up and they include,

• Increase in governmance rights.
• It encourages decipline
• It increase club status and attracts extra benefits.
