Assalamu Alaikum. I hope everyone is healthy. I am also healthy and well by the grace of God. Weekly drawing contest hosted by @eliany mom in Steem Kids & Parents Community Week #31 Begins: Going to participate in Draw A Duck today. Thank you for organizing such a beauty contest, as always. Today I will draw a duck according to the theme of the competition. I hope you like it.

Here are the things I will need to draw the duck first :

• White paper of A4 size.
• Pencil and eraser.
• Yellow, Blue and Orange pencil colors.
• Yellow pastel colors.
• Black sign pen.

So let's begin.

Step : 1

• First I draw a shape of a duck. Its lip is clearly visible.

Step : 2

• After that, I will give you the duck's wings. I will draw the part of its eyes.

Step : 3

• Then I will paint the water on the underside of the duck. So that it is understood that the duck is swimming in the water.

Step : 4

• Then I will color the whole body of the duck with yellow pencil and pastel colors. After that, I will paint the lip part with orange color. Then I added water color to the bottom part of the water with light blue ink.

Step : 5

• In this step I will highlight the entire drawn picture of the duck with black color pen.

Describe A duck

A duck is a type of swimming bird with a short neck and legs. Their broad legs help them to swim. They have long beaks with which they find food on flat bills. They can live in freshwater or seawater, and their feathers are waterproof. Male and female ducks often differ in appearance. The skin color of the duck is gray or white. Its lip color is orange. They like to live in water.

Where do they live?

Ducks are a bird that is also considered waterfowl because they usually prefer to live in wetlands, oceans, rivers, ponds, and water. A duck house, duck coop, or duck island, often a floating structure that ducks can climb on top of or on, protects from predators such as foxes. Some are standard wooded shelters on land, others on duck ponds or islands in lakes; They can be pretty ornate and large structures.

What's the difference between duck and chicken

The main difference between chicken and duck is that ducks are water birds with flat, paddle-like feet, and chickens are ground-dwelling scratching chickens. Although both these feathered birds are egg-layers that provide eggs and meat for sustainability, they are not the same. Ducks and geese are poultry and considered "white" meat. Because they are flightless birds, however, breast meat is darker than chicken and turkey breasts.

What does it eat, tell us about the lifestyle of a duck.

Feed ducks cracked corn, oats, rice, birdseed, frozen peas, shredded lettuce, or grapes. Food left in the water can rot and cause deadly algae blooms that affect local wildlife.

Eggs usually hatch in 28 days. Ducklings can fledge in 5-8 weeks, so they migrate to areas where the weather is warmer.

Are they important to man, what significant role do they play in humans life? Tell us the importance of a duck do they have any nutritional value if we are to eat it?

Ducks are essential birds for their ecosystem. They are often found in swamps, and they often move around to different swamp locations as they go about their daily routines. As they do this, they can introduce plant and animal species, such as frogs or fish, to other wetland locations.

One of the enormous benefits of eating duck is its nutrients. Duck has proven to be an excellent source of iron, essential for producing hemoglobin, a building block of red blood cells. Iron is also essential for energy production in growing infants. The most significant nutrient found in duck meat is vitamin B. Duck meat is an excellent source of vitamin B compounds, particularly B-12. It also increases the body's release of energy through folic acid absorption.

Duck meat is also found in many essential proteins to keep your body active. These proteins can repair damaged skin and keep your body active. Protein is also essential for keeping your body healthy by helping with natural immunity.

If they are dangerous to man tell us their dangerous part

When approaching a duck, you mustn't chase them. Pursuing them will stress them out and possibly make them uncomfortable around you. Never pick a wild duck unless one is injured and needs to be taken to a wildlife rescue. I recommend against feeding wild ducks.

Do you encourage us to have it at home, what do you think?

Yes, of course, I am enthusiastic about celebrating it at home. Ducks are social animals that can socialize very well. We can keep pet ducks inside the house. As a social animal in our country, ducks are kept as pets in the village. Many households prepare duck from. And to breed ducks, there must be a pond next to the house.
