Family picnic are periods were family hangout together with their basket of refreshments alongside picnic blankets in an open place or field, surrounded by nature. Is an important part of our lives were we bond with our families and it gives us the opportunity of escaping the stress and challenges of work life. In my own case, we didn’t have the luxury of going out to the sandy shore but the family bonding and shared laughter remains a memorable experience in my heart.

There’s something magical about the atmosphere, when it comes to having a bonding time with the family in an open place, filled with white sand, big coconut trees, beautiful fresh air and nature surrounding you. For a lot of families, picnic is the best time they hangout to laugh and enjoy with one another, settle whatever disputes that’s been going on, heal any unspoken wounds among siblings and create a lasting memories by taking pictures.
Personally, I can’t really say I’ve had any picnic experience before like going to the beach side and setting up a tent with family and relaxing, like the way I see it on movies. In my own case, the family fun was indoors. We had lots of food to eat because it was a buffet, played lots of games among the adults and children, settled whatever rifts that was existing though most of the quarrels brought about heated arguments but it was settled and they were made to hug each other. it was a day filled with love, laughter, and precious moments that I can never forget and will always be treasured in my heart.

Besides the food and drinks that we enjoyed among ourselves, there are several benefits that comes with organizing such family picnics and it is the bonding among one another. During that period with your family, you forget all the troubles and challenges you are going through because of love and laughter shared among family members when catching up on old times.
Rivalry between siblings are ironed out once and for all, with your parents as the mediator. All those unnecessary conflicts that is making the family fall apart is brought up for discussion and judged fairly. In the end, everyone kiss and makeup.
The best part of it is the memories because it is going to last for a lifetime. It’s going to be a reminder of the fun and loved shared with your family members.

Some of the activities we did that day include:
- Playing card games and monopoly
- Asking our parents to tell us stories of how they met before they got married.
- Drinking competition among the guys.
- Race among the grand kids
- Healing time: everyone pour out your grievances or anything personal that is affecting you and seek out way we can help each other to find solutions to it.
- Collection of everyone’s phones and putting it on silent to avoid distractions with calls

Picnic with family members is more than just sitting out and having fun and refreshment. Is a moment of genuine love and happiness shared as a result of family bonding. So as we go out to the beach and spread picnic blankets for everyone to gather around, let’s make sure the event is memorable one.

Family Picnics are always fantastic. I went on a picnic with my family last year and I would say I felt good after that picnic, I actually wanted more of it. Work and busy schedules always limits us from having great time with our family but the little moments we have, we should always use it in creating memories. At the end it is the memories of how well we lived with our families and loved ones.
Family picnics is really cool and brings the family together. Apart from family get together or outings is quite rare you see family picnic in this part of the country… I’m glad you had a good time in your own

Family is all we have and they are the only ones who has our back any day, any time. So, is best we keep doing this picnics or hangouts with family to increase the bond between us..
Picnics are great - in every possible constellation... I remember wonderful concerts in a location in the Berlin area - Chorin Monastery. There you don't sit in rows of spectators in front of the musicians, who mostly perform classical works. But on picnic blankets, with coffee and cake, wine and meatballs with salad... That was unique! Family picnics are different. Fun, relaxed - until the moment when the three-year-old climbs up to the high stand and doesn't dare come down again on his own... Memories... ;-))
Hahahaha… I’m trying to imagine how you guys would have reacted after seeing the 3 years old climb the high Stand…😂😂

I can't agree more with you, sincerely, the importance of picnics for family bonding can't be overemphasized, it's one of my favourite and joyous moments I always look forward to, the meals share, games played etc normally create good memories. You killed this contest
