My actions to make our environment cleaner, greener and healthier 🌲🌲🌲🌴🌴🌴

🌱Greenish Nation🌱

The world is greenish and am happy that God made plants and trees to be green in color and not any other color because I believe green is the perfect color for it. I was surprised when I saw this contest in this community, it really took me unaware 😅. Anyway I don't want to waste time before participating because I love contests like this and they are mostly organized in steem for betterlife community. Special thanks to @ngoenyi for organizing this contest.

What did you do?

I cut grasses 😁. One day while I was in the church, I gathered some of the boys in the church who are altar servers and am there president. I told them that we they should bring the shovel, cutlass and rake so that we can cut down the numerous grasses in one part of the church. They quickly obeyed and brought the tools, I shared the work for five persons.

I assigned two of them to pack the grasses inside one of the bushes quite close, I assigned one to join me in cutting and I assigned one to use shovel to clear another small portion close to the actual one we were cutting. I gave one the rake to gather the grasses for the other two to pack them inside the bush. At the beginning I knew it was going to be a very huge task and I was ready for it as long as I will profit from doing it.

How did you do it?

Like I said earlier, I shared the task among the boys I selected, including myself. I used cutlass to cut the grass and each time I get tired of using it, I will swap it with one of the boys using rake and they will be excited because they also want to cut. While they cut I used the rake to gather the grasses. I was so excited the task was working out well.

I gathered alot of grasses and the boys packing were tired and I motivated to keep on doing it, sometimes I will give them 7 minutes to rest, the sun was really hot but I was never tired entirely because I was deriving maximum joy from doing it. The boys continued there work will more strength and I could see real smiles on there face 🥹.

Where did you do it

We did it in the church one Saturday morning, every Saturday we always come to the church for clean up and mass serving rehearsals. I was so delighted to see alot of boys present that day so I selected 5 to work with me while the others were washing and also fetching water. Catholic church is always big and full of alot of people. I love the catholic church alot and I will never depart from this church. People saw what we were doing and they were really surprised and impressed, some were telling us well done.

What motivated you?

What else? 😂 Is just steemit 😍. I love steemit alot and I have been contests like this own in steemit and I always feel bad because am unable to participate just because I don't have pictures of myself doing all these tasks, oh I forgot to say that I assigned one of the boys to also be the camera man.

It was a wonderful moment. I want to participate in contests like this and also have a nice diary game posts that's why I did this task, though our Reverend father has said something Ike we should do it but he was not serious with it, he was surprised when we did it before the day he expected us to do it.
