Introduction

Hi steemians, is been a long time, hope everyone is alright. I want to thank @madilyn02 for organizing this amazing contest. Based on the theme of this contest, I will be talking about fields, either a farming field or a field for sports.

The field behind a basketball court

I normally play basketball in a very far place from my house in which I board mini buses whenever am going with my friend.

This field is inside a primary school and it's very big that it's even more than enough for primary school children, am even surprised that there's a basketball in a primary school. Most times whenever I go there on Sundays to play basketball, I see street boys playing football in the field, most times they even fight themselves.

My church compound

My church compound is very big and it's 15 plot of land. We are currently building our parish priest's house, it has been roofed and they are currently plastering now.

The church we built in our land is quite big but is small🤭 what am I even saying sef?
Most times we play football in our church compound, the compound is not fenced and our things are stolen sometimes till we finally had a security man. I, my church members and other outsiders enjoys playing football in the compound and these outsiders has nicknamed our church compound as catholic field 😂.

My ex-school compound

Back then while I was still in high school, I and my school mates enjoy playing football in our school compound and our friends most especially the girls, will be cheering us up from upstairs while watching the game.

Whenever my school had a football competition with another school, we normally use our school compound for training. There was a time when a particular school wanted to play match with my school girls, they were the ones that invited us but on the day of the match after the male seniors and few teachers have trained my school girls, the school said their girls are not ready and we became surprised.

I didn't follow them to the field where the match was scheduled so I and my friends were surprised when the girls and the male seniors and teachers who escorted them came back on time. They were singing a song like this 👇

Winner ooo winner! Winner oooo winner! Winner we don win oo winner! I say we go win forever winner!

As soon as I heard the said I quickly knew we had won. They told us all that happened and we laughed at the school, they were scared of our girls squad.

Conclusion

These three fields are unique and big except for my school compound which has a square shape 😂. The first field I was talking about was filled with grasses but it was recently cleared. I hope you all enjoyed my post?
