Hello everyone, good morning and happy Sunday to you all. Hope you all had a wonderful night rest. Today I will be participating on a contest with the topic Indeed it was a blessing in disguise. I would love to share a life story about my elder sister.

My story.
In the year 2014, my sister graduated from federal Government Girls College Bwari in Abuja Nigeria. That year, she wrote JAMB and applied for Medicine and surgery but she didn't get admission into the University that year.

My sister on her induction day.

Fast-forward to 2015 she got another jamb form and my mom told her to apply for another health course because Medicine and surgery was hot cake in Nigerian University and she agreed.

My sister wanted to apply for Medical Laboratory Science but that year, UNN did not admit students in to that department because some of their laboratories were burnt.

My sister was so angry and confused, my mom called one of the University lecturer and he advised my sister to apply for Microbiology that it's a very nice course. My sister applied for the course reluctantly and got admission into the University that year.

My sister had this friend Naza who kept on talking about applying for change of course to Pharmacy department but my sister told her that she was not interested.

Few days to the end of change of course, her friend Naza applied and kept on persuading her to do so. She later gave the Change of course a thought. She called my parents, and told them and they gave her their blessings. She applied for the change of course and when all hope was lost her name appeared in the last list.

She was so fortunate because pharmacy students and Microbiology students offer the same courses in 1st year and she didn't had to step down to 1st year.

On the day she was inducted into the Pharmacy profession, she told me that if not for Microbiology, she wouldn't had met her friend Naza who persuaded her to change to her dream course. And had it been that she studied medicine and surgery or Medical laboratory science, she wouldn't have continued with the profession because she is easily irritated and can't withstand the sight of blood.

Indeed, Microbiology was a blessing in disguise and also a stepping stone to her profession today.

Moral lessons
Most times, our blessings comes from darkest situations.

Sometimes, what seems bad always turn out as our breakthrough and turning point.

We should always allow the will of God to be done in our lives.

Thanks for reading through, I invite @akareen, @saintkelvin17 and @wizzyboy3 to this contest.

It is quite difficult to get such good friends, a friend who tries to persuade you to do things that will better your life.
