Ingredients
Fresh tomatoes.
Groundnut oil
Onions
Red pepper
Green pepper
Garlic
Ginger
seasoning cubes
Cray fish
Curry powder
Rice
Salt
Procedure for making Stew.
Wash and slice your fresh tomatoes.
Blend it if you like.
Wash and cut your onions.
Wash and slice your garlic and ginger. You can blend it if you like.
Wash and slice your red and green pepper. I usually add green pepper to my stew because it gives it a unique stew.
Put the pot on heat and add groundnut oil to it. Allow the oil to heat up before adding your sliced onions.
Fry the onions until it looks crystal. Add the green pepper, red pepper, ginger and garlic. Fry them for a while.
Add the tomatoes and fry.
Fry the stew for a while. Add water to the stew. Add the meat or fish stock to the stew if you're cooking with meat or fish.
Add crayfish, salt and seasoning cubes to the stew and allow it to cook for a while.
Crayfish is optional.
Your stew is ready.
Procedure for cooking White Rice.
Wash the rice.
Parboil the rice.
Wash the rice after parboiling it.
Boil water enough to cook the rice.
Add the rice to the pot when it boils.
Keep checking the rice to know when it's tender.
When the rice is okay to your taste, turn off the heat.
Your delicious rice and stew is ready.
