Food Challenge Contest Week #46 || How To Make Jollof Spaghetti by @rossnenye

Hello everyone, good afternoon to you all. Hope you day is going as planned? Welcome to week #46 of steemkidss weekIy cooking contest. Today I will be teaching you guys how to make Jollof Spaghetti. Spaghetti looks like noodles, it is a meal eaten by virtually everyone. It is a delicacy enjoyed by kids. It can be cooked white and eaten with stew or cooked jollof. It can be eaten in morning, afternoon or night and making it doesn't take time.

INGREDIENTS
Spaghetti

Fresh tomato

Cray fish

Onions

Seasoning cubes.

Groundnut oil

Curry

Fresh pepper

PROCEDURES
Break the spaghetti into smaller pieces. I break mine into smaller pieces because I don't like it long but if you like it long, then you don't need to break it.

Wash it and put it on a sieve.

Parboil the spaghetti.

What it looks like after parboiling it.

Blend the fresh tomatoes and set aside.

Slice your onions and peppers and set aside.

Put groundnut oil in the pot, heat it for some time.

Add your sliced onions and peppers to the pot and fry until it looks crystal.

Add the blended tomatoes to the pot and fry it.

Stir the sauce continuously to prevent it from burning.

Add the crayfish to the sauce and stir.

Fry the sauce until it dries.

Add water to the pot enough to cook the spaghetti.

Spaghetti does not need long cooking so don't add too much water to it so that it doesn't look soggy.

Add the curry powder, seasoning cubes and salt to taste.

When the water boils, add the spaghetti to it and cover the pot.

When the water dries, stir the spaghetti and turn off the heat.

Your delicious spaghetti is served. You can serve it with boiled egg, Fried fish or fried meat.
