Greeting great steemians, is my pleasure to join this contest. from the look of things I consider this topic to be interesting and important because children need to be educated more about this.

From the name child abuse is simple to understand that it comes with child maltreatment, affliction of emotional distress, or trauma and this is so rampant in mine locality.

THE COMMON ABUSE IN MY LOCALITY

1 • CHILD LABOUR: this form of abuse involves turning of children below the age of 18 into (money making machine), how do I mean? Instead of parent or caregiver to send this children to school for personal development, those in whom they are under, subject them to streets and road Hawking and begging. and to make matters worse, this children that falls this victim are hardly fed well by those they work for even before they are being sent to the street under the Sun and rain.

2 • CHILD ABANDONMENT : this form of abuse is so common in our locality, this act normally happens during unwanted pregnancy, when a woman who is unmarried and she become pregnant or is raped and she managed to carry the pregnancy without aborting it she usually throws the baby away after birth or sell it with huge amounts of money. In some cases some women who give birth to abnormal baby also cast them away for the shame of being identified as the mother of an imbecile, and the stress that follows the training of such a baby as much they do away with this baby.what an abuse

SEXUAL ABUSE: this form of abuse usually comes with a molester asking or pressurising a child to engage in sexual activities with him/her, an abuser usually seduce children gradually ,he does this by winning the Child trust and that of his parents. and this molesters pretends to be sincerely interested in the child and the family by showering them with lots of gifts. an abuser is not far from the home is always within the reach of the home.

WHO IS AT RUST THE MOST, THE FEMALE OR THE MALE?

From the look of things and the report of cases around my vicinity the female is at rust the most the reason is that according to the report of recent years, estimated 150 million girls and 73 million boys under 18 years of age experience sexual violence. A review of studies from 21 countries suggeste that in some places, as many as 36% of girls and 29% of boys has been subjected to some form of sexual victimization as a child.

WHAT EFFECTS CAN THEY HAVE ON KIDS

Truly speaking the circumstances surrounding a person's childhood will have a way of affecting his personality. A child who is facing the issue of abuse is swimming in the ocean of illiteracy and ignorance.
A child who has fall victim of child abandonment, have the tendency of caring less for their own children as they themselves have never tasted or experience true care from their own parent or guardians.

HOW CAN KIDS AVOID ABUSER

• As a child try not to keep secrets from your parents even if the abuser ask you to do so
• Avoid staying in a lonely place with someone who is an opposite sex, Even if ,his your close relative or neighbor.

• Be quick to use these words. 'NO!' , Don't do that', or leave me alone. and be serious about it.

• Report to your caregiver or parents any attitude someone display regarding your body part, especially your private organs.
