I watched some aircraft disasters over the weekend when I remembered an interesting fact about English that I am going to share with you today.

Did you know that if you want to be a pilot, you have to speak English?

Yip! English became the official language for the sky after two airplanes crashed after the tower operator could not understand one of the pilots.

Let’s take a last look at last week’s clues.

The correct word is SERENDIPITY!

It is one of the “prettiest” words in the English dictionary. Okay, I can hear you. How can a word be “pretty?” Believe me, when a word rolls off the tongue like serendipity, it is pretty to the ear.

Just as pretty as the word, so is the meaning.
“Luck that takes the form of finding valuable or pleasant things that are not looked for." This is according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.
