Wednesday – I spy with my little eye – Mini contest (30)

Hello kids and parents!

I read today that the number 30 will bring you to balance in your life.

Well, today is number 30 of our weekly "I spy with my little eye – Mini contest". Will it not be great if we can add another zero to the number and make it 300?
We only need another 270 weeks which will give us just over 5 years of guessing.

Before we carry on with this week's contest we first need to take one more look at the clues of last week.

I received some great guesses this week and any of them could have been right. There was also a "healthy argument" between two Steemians. Thank you, I enjoyed it.

And the word is ... ADJUDICATOR!

The reason why I choose adjudicator is that very few people know the difference between a judge and an adjudicator.

The easiest way to explain the difference is that a judge must have "general knowledge" but an adjudicator needs specific knowledge.

Furthermore, an adjudicator will handle a dispute outside of a court a judge inside a court.
The decision of an adjudicator is however still legally binding.

Cases handled by an adjudicator cost less and are far less time-consuming.

I absolutely love how Collinsdictionary.com explains the role of an adjudicator.

Both adjudicators and judges must show integrity and honesty at all times.

The game “I spy with my little eye” is sort of a detective game. The “spy” is the person who sees something and the rest of the players must then guess what the spy is seeing.

Of importance, it must be something that you can see and not something you can feel like an emotion.

BUT, “I spy with my little eye” is so much more than just a spy game;

• It is a thinking game
• It teaches you how to use your logic and reasoning and
• It grows your vocabulary
