Hello fellas, it's really been a while being in here and while reading the post entry, I couldn't help but smile and thought it wise to share some of my embarrassing moments with you all to make you laugh.

Slipped In The Market

This happened some time around September 2021 in Akwanga market.
It rained earlier on that day before I boarded a bike to the market to buy some foodstuffs for the house and I was wearing one of my favorites simple slippers and after alighting from the bike and cat walking by the roadside, then I saw myself going down in that busy road but that God I didn't reach down yet I can't really say how I managed to keep myself from falling.
Few people had time to say sorry though I didn't spent up to 10 seconds there out of embarrassment and I quickly mingled with people to avoid shame.
I swore never to wear that pair of slippers again when it rained and I kept to my promise till I didn't disposed them.

Fart In Public

Mostly, I have male friends who are never ashamed of farting in my presence and I used to wonder how they feel.
So it was on a sunny Sunday afternoon while we were relaxing under a big mango tree in my area that I unconsciously farted while laughing at some silly jokes made by one of them.
I was so embarrassed and wished I could vanish because all of them were surprised since they had never heard me fart right from childhood till this age.
I really felt ashamed that day.

Waiting For A Door To Automatically Open

This happened around 2009 when I went to the bank to do some transactions.
I never knew the bank door was changed from the normal pull/push to and automatic one where you just punch a pin for it to open, slide to one side, allow you enter before it opens at the other end.
So I was on the queue observing how others were doing and when it got to my turn, I didn't realized the indicator was still red which means it can't open until it turns green. Wow! That was what I didn't notice from the back.
So I kept punching until someone behind me asked me to wait for it to change to green light first.
I felt embarrassed as a young girl and was like this dude will now see me as a village girl.
Someone I don't even know and don't think I met again after that incident.

My First Menstrual Experience

I vividly remember this because it happened in 2003 when I was in Junior Secondary School (JSS) 3.
I used to be an introvert and hardly being sent in the classroom by my teachers because they thought this girl might return without delivery the message but my village people decided to visit me on this fateful day.
While I was seated, I felt something flowing out of me and my instincts told me to shift one side and check which I did. Lo and behold, I saw blood.
Never had the experience but I've seen by two elder sisters padding up whenever it came visiting.
So I picked one of my spare books and sat on it so it won't stain the desk thinking I'll sneak out of the classroom during break to go take care of myself but all of a sudden my Home Economics mistress came into that classroom and came straight to me then she sent me to another classroom to call her school daughter.
Jesus Christ! Of all days, this woman is seeing and sending me today.
So I quickly borrowed a scalf from my seat mate though she was inquisitive but I didn't tell her anything so I stylishly tied it around my waist to cover up the stain before going out to deliver the message.
Immediately I returned, it was break time which gave me opportunity to run home and I never returned til the next day which I padded up properly but I never saw that damn blood again till after few years.
Oh God, nobody saw it but I was so ashamed that day.

Cooking Gone Wrong

No matter how smart you are in cooking, some day you will definitely cook rubbish which happened to me on a fateful day I made pap for my whole family.
You can imagine how that simple food embarrassed me before my siblings and their families.
The pap turned into rock which I could explain.
I was sad because I am considered one of the best cooks in my house but ordinary pap proved otherwise.

My Loose Zipper

On January 1st 2022 I went for shopping for our little get together for the new year celebration but didn't know I was walking around with opened zip.
My luck was that my shirt was a little bit long which covered the opening.
I don't know what took my hand down there while waiting for a bike and eventually realized I was walking almost naked so I quickly zipped up stylishly. Pheww

If one is not strong willed, you will never come out of hiding once you get embarrassing moments around people especially the ones you respect.
