Hello guys, welcome back to another post. Today I'm gonna be participating in the contest "I love to take photos: My currency" by @madilyn02 which we have to share the pictures of our country's currency. So let's get started

The currency that's used in my country Sri Lanka is Sri Lankan Rupees (lkr). It's issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. There are 20 Rupee Notes, 50 Rupee notes, 100 Rupee note, 500 Rupees notes, 1000 Rupee notes and 5000 Rupee notes. The country is in a economic crisis so its value is going down.
20 Rupees Note
What3words Location
At the center of the 20 Rupee Note, there is a drawing of the Colombo port now and a photo of Colombo port in the past. The bird that's on the right side of the note is Sri Lankan Serendib Scops Owl. And the butterfly that is on the left side at the bottom of the note is the Baronet.
50 Rupees Note
What3words Location
The bridge which is on the center of the 50 Rupees Note is the bridge of Manampitiya. The old bridge, over which both trains and other vehicles ran is on the left of the new bridge. Above both the bridges there's the faint visualization of a historical railway arch bridge. The bird which is on the right side of the note is the Sri Lankan Dull Blue Flycatcher. The butterfly which is on the left is the Blue Oakleaf.
100 Rupees Note
At the center of the 100 rupees note, there's the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant Project. Above the power plant there's the Laxapana waterfall with the cables that transmit the hydro-power generated from the waterfall. The bird that's on the right side is the Sri Lankan Orange Billed Babbler. And thebutterfly that's on the left side is the Autumn Leaf.
