Intro

It is my pleasure coming your way again, saying happy new day to you all, hope you are alive and thriving. I will be discussing on the contest topic: Draw A Tilapia fish, by @eliany in the Steem Kids & Parents community. I hope you will find it interesting and amusing.

The Finished Work

Follow me along as I get down to my drawing table.

Step 1

I start by drawing the mouth part of the fish which almost look like "W".

Step 2

Then followed by the eclipse-like outer part of the body.

Step 3

I then add the upper fin and the tail.

Step 4

I then conclude by drawing the lower fins and the scale in the body. By now the fish has taken a better shape. I then add some shading to add to the beauty.

Describe A Tilapia fish?

Tilapia is in the family fishes of Chiclid and have a shape like the sunfish with a heavily spined dorsal fin. As a freshwater fish, they have broad variety of food organism that are natural. The are also filters feeders. They are Omnivores in nature.

Where do they live?

They are freshwater fish that habit in the ponds, lakes, and shallow stream.

Is There Any Difference Between Scale Fish And Fish Without Scale?

Yes, there is a difference between them.
Fish without a scale are easily and usually attacks by pathogens but other fish with scales are not simply because their scale serves as protection from predators. They also have difference in taste when eaten as food by humans.

Is It Easily Seen?

Yes is easily seen especially in pond, especially where they ate farmed and in market where they are sold, etc.

Have You Seen One Before, If Yes Where?

Yes I have seen it. I saw it on Friday last week when at Uruan river bank brought in by a fisherman who went for fish farming.

Are They Important To Man, What Significant Role Do They Play In Human Life? Talk About Their Nutritional Value

Yes, they are important to man because most people cultivate in commercial quantities, sold and make money. As nutritional value, It contains B12 and vitamin D. Tilapia Fish are low in fat and a good source of protein. Research shows that Tilapia is one of the best fish for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers. Apart from that, It also has Omega-3 fatty acids, which are healthy fat that our body needs to function.

If They Are Dangerous To Man, Tell Us Their Dangerous Part

For sure, they have dangerous side to man, and this is mostly If they are not properly cook before consumption. Because of the high concentration chemical component, they are dangerous to human health. It causes allergic reaction and diseases to the body.

Some Parts Of The Country Eat It, So Tell Us Have You Eaten It Before, If Yes What's Your Favorite Recipe Is It Dry, Fresh Or Barbecued?

Yes, some Part of the country eat It. I have eaten it before, in fact I prefer it dried.
