Celebrating Steemkids Community First Anniversary||I Hosted A Mini Party To That Effect
Hello dear members of steemkids community, it is a thing of joy to see steemkids community grow to the extent it is now within it's first year of establishment.
It is therefore worth celebrating. As the founder of the community, I had the honor to host an anniversary party for the few MODs that are with me in my city of residence who have been pillars of the community.
Preparation
It all started with the design and printing of a 6 by 4 ft flex banner which costed 5450 naira (equivalent of 46 steem)
The cake which was an important part of the occasion was ready at 102 steem

Next was the food and drinks including water that cost 185 steem.
It was a party for just 10 persons and we also had the honor of hosting @whitestallion who came all the way from Abia State to celebrate with us.
Other attendees were

@ubongudofot who is our computer tutor
@eliany who is our mod
@goodybest who's our Mod
@udyliciouz who is our mod and social studies tutor
@madilyn02 who is our kid mod
@nsisong99 who is part of our advisor
@ddworsky who is a friend to the kids and a patron to be
@adylinah was just passing by and met us and then joined in the occasion along with her kid sister
Udyliciouz also came with her little daughter.
The occasion began few minutes to 2pm with an opening prayer from @benton3, then a brief Introduction to all present.
The garden egg and other eatables followed along and later the cake was cut by all members present
It was later dance!!! dance!! and dance!!!
Experiences were shared. It was a happy occasion. It didn't take much time because we were done by 3:30pm to enable our own special guest, @whitestallion to travel back to his city of residence.
The occasion was anchored by @ddwosky.
Everyone dispersed successfully to their destinations. It was a happy occasion.
I am truly grateful to all who made this occasion a successful one. To run a community is not a one man or one woman thing and as such appreciating around me is the little I can do. Many more wonderful celebrations await us all.
