Steemit Engagement Challenge (SEC) WK14:#1: Neglect in families, effects on kids
INTRUDUCTION
Hello my fellow steemians, it good to be here again, this my first time am participating in this engagement challenge, and I hope to do well. I will tell you all I know about neglect in family, neglecting our children is very bad.
What does neglect of responsibilities mean in a family
Firstly neglect means failing to provide they basic need for their children. this neglect can begin from child abuse, and this is not good for our children. Some children can be left without eating for a long time and there is no elderly person to take care of them and this may lead our children to denger or to join bad friends.
Have you been neglected or seen anyone neglected? What are the effects on the kids
Have not been neglected before but have seen someone that have been neglected before this is how it happens;
When i was learning a trade, there is this guy that work with us, Everytime he will be coming to work late, so one day I ask him why his always coming late, and he told me that, his aunty and uncle always wake him up very early, and the do ask him to wash clothes, sweep and clean up the house before he goes to work. sometimes he do come to work without eating, and he will be very wick, I do buy him food sometimes because i do pretty him, they boy is just 12 years old. And this things this boy is passing though can lead him to run out of the house and go join bad friends.
Your advice to parents who neglect their responsibilities towards their kids.
I don't have much to say to parents who neglect their responsibility towards their kids I just have to say that parents should listen to their children, parents should have time for their children, if parents don't have time for their children, there won't know what their children want and needs are, parents should guard and protect their children and lead them to the right part to life. It is written in the bible; train up a child in the way they should grow and if they grow the will never depart from it. So please parent train your child well and have time to listen to them.
Your advice to the kids who are neglected
My advice to kids who are neglected are not much, kids who are neglected should not feel bad, I know it difficult to do, but please do not cross your right part and go into the wrong part, if you are forced to do what you don't like by any of your family, do well to report to any elderly person around you or you report to the police. Secondly if you are not close to the elderly ones around you that you can share your thoughts with, do well to share your ideas to people you are close with,do not share them to bad company, if you do, you can join them without knowing and you may regret later. That my advice to kids who are neglected.
CONCLUSION
So my lovely steemians that all I have to say, neglecting our children is very bad, parents should try to have time for us, because if they don't who will have time for us, parents should make us their children be close to them and they should open their self to us, so that we too can be open to them

Neglect mean the ignoring of parents to their kids. You have shared a very emotional and a miserable story of a kid. It's really hurting to read it. I m proud of you, you helped him there buying food.

Muy bonita tu publicación @newekemini5. Es cierto lo que dices, los padres deberian cuidar y proteger a los hijos, pero lamentablemente está sucediendo todo lo contrario a nivel mundial, muchos padres abandonan a sus hijos, otros no les prestan atención, otros los maltratan y socaban su dignidad.
Pero es importante que los niños aprendan desde muy pequeños a no adoptar conductas repetitivas, porque el patrón se repita con las nuevas familias y las nuevas generaciones.
Es lo que hay que evitar.
