Steem Engagement Challenge (SEC) WK:14#1: Neglect in families,effects on kids.

Neglect only knows how painful it is for people who have been neglected by their loved ones. Neglect makes people destitute from within. And at some point when a person can no longer bear the neglect, he may become a rebel. Personality or chooses the path of death.

By neglect of responsibilities in a family, I mean spending less time with family members. Now we all are working like donkeys night and day to get money and fame. While working I don't think for a single time that I have a family, parents, brothers and sisters, children in the family. We only think about making money. All members of a family have rice in their stomachs, pockets full of money but there is no one to share their attitude, this is called neglect of responsibilities in a family.

No, I am not neglectful towards my family, everyone in my family spends enough time with other family members, takes care of each other, stands by each other in happiness and sadness.

But I have seen many children around me who are constantly being neglected by their families. Let's talk about one of my students.

I tutored a student a long time ago. The boy's father works abroad. When the boy was only 1 year and 9 months old, the boy's father moved abroad to earn a living and support the family. The boy's mother runs a small business in the village. Saree, Punjabi, Burka etc. He has a factory where many things are done by hand.

Day after day, she spends her time supervising the work of the workers in the factory. She has a son at home. She does not even have time to take any information about whether he has eaten, whether he has taken a bath, whether he is studying properly. The boy returns home from school all day. He sits with his mobile phone, plays games and watches videos online. In this way, the boy grows up physically day after day while sitting at home, but he has no development in terms of mental and brain.

No sympathy for others, no idea how to speak in any situation. If he says something, he just stares and argues with the elders. I want to blame his parents for this deterioration of the boy. Because they are running after money all the time, they did not even pay attention to their child.

They are making money to build their children's future. Day and night they are working hard. However, they could not raise that child for so much hard work, sacrifice and earning money.

I would like to say to parents who neglect their children,"

Your child is your future. If you neglect your child now, then this behavior will be reflected in him through socialization. And in the future when you expect his favors, he may also neglect you. Because he has learned this neglect and contempt from you. Maybe Then he will leave a caretaker for you with a lot of money like you but will never spend time with you, will not take any information, think about how you will feel at that time.

You are working hard day and night, all the money you are earning is for your children and the next generation. Just think, your child has a lot of money but he does not know the proper way to spend it. Then you have earned this trouble. What will happen to the money???

Don't just give money to your child, give time to him, give moral education, teach philanthropy, then you will see that in old age you are getting time, cooperation and good behavior from your son.

My advice to children who are constantly being neglected by their parents, family or society is that others will criticize you, look down on you, try to slow down the pace of your life. Will it stop there? Never, all of you. Try to reach your goals in such a way that every person who neglected you regrets and realizes their mistakes and corrects them.

However, never neglect your parents. They may have rushed to the pitch of money without spending time on your pitch. But remember that every step taken by the parents is aimed at building a better future for their children.
