Writing Contest: What is transportation?

Hello and welcome to this interesting contest organized by @udyliciouz in the Steemkid and parent community, learning never end and I will be happy to deliver my lesson on the topic 'What is transportation?'. Before I proceed I will like to invite @yakspeace @m-fdo @bensam2049 @ishayachris to participate in the contest.

Every human does travel from one location to another for different activities, the world is active and alive because of the activities and interpersonal relations between different people across the world. Transportation has helped in a lot of ways to ease the act of traveling.

The term transportation simply refers to the movement of people or goods from one place to another. But to define the terms in my way, I see transportation as the use of available means of transport means to shorten time to distance to cover long long destinations within the shortest period.

The process of conveying goods, and the movement of people to different destinations are aided through the available means of transportation, transportation is very important to man.

The form of transportation in my area includes the following:

Road transportation is the common form of transportation used in my location, cars, motorcycles/ tricycles, are all used for transportation means by many people in my area.

The government ensures that there is a good road transport channel that links all the communities and beyond, the constriction of the road channels makes it easy for vehicles to move easily to different destinations.

There are airports available to meet up with air transportation channels. The Airport does cover local and even international destinations which is faster at all times. Some wealthy men prefer using road transport for inter-state journies because it is safer in terms of accidents or robberies

Water transportation is available in my locality as well. In most cases, some destinations can be reached very easily by using water transport channels, and the use of a boat or canoe is employed for easier transportation means. Some farm produce and goods are also transported using the water transport channels.

The benefit of transportation is so much but the fundamental one is the aid to conveying goods or movement of people to different locations. Transport also helps us reach our destination faster and within a short period.

Transportation Ease human labor in terms of conveying goods and services, we don't need to carry loads on our heads but there are set means which cover that through the transportation systems. Transportation is very important in terms of the movement of goods.

The airplane's means of transportation is accomplished with the help of Aeroplanes, Aeroplanes can fly in the skies and are controlled by a pilot. Airplanes are created with a lot of advanced technology which enables them to fly above the skies and at a very high speed.

The helicopter is another means of air transportation that is fast and reliable, the helicopter can convey goods or people irrespective of the weather, congestion, or airline mapping. It is more flexible than the airplane.

The boat is the most common means of water transportation, the means employ the use of Boat which transports people to different destinations, the boat is just small in size and is fast and reliable means of the transport system.

The ship is very big and performs heavy-duty tasks when it comes to water transportation. The ship mainly transports containers of goods to different destinations. It is designed in such a way that it those not drawn into the river no matter the weight of goods it carries. It is the most used means of transport system when it comes to the importation and exportation of containers.

The means of Transportation 🚗 has helped to ease life and help every individual to be able to meet up to activities on time, implementation of technological advancement has also helped in the various means of transportation.
