Welcome to a brand new year, welcome 2024. Waooo this is good, the contest really match with the new year
There is this welcome mat I once own, is always at the front door of my house, the mat was given to me by my pastor that I should keep it there so that any one that came visiting will know that he or she is most welcome.
What does 'welcome' mean to you and what do you use it for? Mention 3 instances
Mummy welcome, daddy welcome, welcome sir, welcome ma'am, these are the common words normally used as salutation in every home, place of work, etc.
When you give someone something what the person responded is “Thank you”, then at the other hand you will want to respond back by telling the person you are welcome.
So the word welcome means you are happy to see that person in your house. Just as we enter 2024, we were all welcome into the new year.
There are so many instances that the word welcome can be used.but let me just mention 3
- Right now when you do favour to someone or some one do you favour, a word you are welcome will set because the people will appreciate you.
- I was in my compound and my neighbor came back from work, what I did was to welcome him back home.
- For instance, school will resume by next week, and when the kids return to school, the teachers will welcome them back to school.
How do you feel when this word is used for you and how do you also think the person you use it for feels about it.
From this picture you can see that I was happy when i visit my friend and she welcome me with a smile on her face.
When this word is say to me, I will find that happiness in me, tye first thing is to observe the facial expressions of that person to know if he or she welcome me with her whole heart, and if I noticed is genuine I will be so happy. And I will love to go back to that person house.
Why should you use this word more often and why is it important to teach our kids to use it
Welcome should be used often, because it makes one feel at home, assuming I come to your house and you welcome me, that will make me be coming to your house again. Word of appreciation is very important because it can bring open door and connection to someone.
Once you appreciate some one and also welcome someone, that person must find a way to appreciate you back.
Salutation should be something that the kids should master at all times, when you see your elderly person coming back from an occasion or any place, make it very important to welcome that person because by doing so, you will get to achieve something great from that person.
As you welcome 2024, what are your expectations and how do you intend to achieve them?
You are all welcome into 2024, this is the year were all waiting for because the past year was something else.
Every year each and every one of us normally has expectations and this year is not different.
There are so many things that I want to achieve before the year is over.
Firstly I want to have a close relationship with God, I want to do more in the house of God.
I want to get a big space for my business so that I can start my paint production company, from the company I will be able to help people by employing them.
Another thing is to get my steem power to at least 10,000 before the end of the year.
These are the few things I really want achieve before the year is over, though I have strategize on how to achieve all this.
I have promise myself that no matter how busy I will be that I will never missed church activities, then I have pick every Saturday to be the day I will go out and preach to people about Christ
For my paint production company, I have joined myself with people that do monthly contribution, because if I want to save it myself I won't be able, so with the contribution I will have enough money to expand the business.
As for my building my steem power to 10k, I have decided to power up all my earnings from the month of February so that I will be able to achieve this target.
in conclusion
I believe God will give me tye strength to be able to achieve this target I have set for myself.
