RAISING VIOLENT FREE CHILDREN - THE ROLE PARENTS AND TEACHERS PLAY

Good day everyone, I am @megareigns and this is my first time posting in this community, having gone through some of the contents here, I would say, this is a wonderful community to learn from. Today, I want to give in my little cent on the roles parents and teachers should play in the life of every child that happens to be under their care inorder to have a violent free child.
A LITTLE DESCRIPTION OF VIOLENT CHILDREN
This has been one of the core problems facing every society today, we see a lot of children going wild on eachother and on the other hand growing too harsh for the society to handle. In a bit to find solution to this, we ask ourselves whose fault is it?. Some times fingers are always pointing towards the direction of the environment, this might be true, but how did these children get to conform to their environment so easily?
Also, the violent adults we have today are mostly those that were not cautioned of their harsh lifestyles when they were still growing as kids, so growing up, they find it difficult to let go of violent lifestyles because they have accustom this habit and it has really become part of them. We go out everyday and see little kids going physical on eachother, some using vulgar words and we can't help than to wonder how these kids came to this level of violence.
WHAT ROLE DOES PARENTS AND TEACHERS HAS TO PLAY?
Sometimes, we point our finger towards the wrong directions, blaming those we are supposed not to blame and this is very bad, so for the start, let me highlights some roles parents and teachers has to play in order to combat violent habit from children under their watch.
• As parents, know the kind of friends your children mingles with. Some other parents might not be able to warn their own kids against violence, it is your role to select the kind of friends your children plays or hang out with.
• As parents, be so mindful of the kind of movie you allow at home, some movies are so violent from the beginning to the end, remember, kids are vulnerable and they practise what they see and hear.
• As a teacher, find time to talk to the pupil about violent act and it its consequences.
• Teachers should as well endeavour to not take sides with any kid when they engage in a fight, this will be really encouraging to the ones you take side with, rather due punishment should be mated on both parties involved.
• As parents, try as much as possible not to go physical or quarrel with yourselves when the kids are around, they will grow up to take it as a normal way of life.
• Parents should also be weary of the contents their kids watch, there are YouTube for kids now, install it for them, things shown there are basically educating and entertaining to kids.
• Teachers should always be at alert to report any ill-actions displayed by the pupils to their parents as of when due.
• As a teacher, be also careful not to fight with your colleague, these kids are very sharp in learn words.
• Parents should be able to choose a good environment to raise their kids,bit is true, environment influences children.
• As parents, reach them the word of God and give them examples of children in the bible that didn't fight and ask them to be like them.
CONSEQUENCES OF RAISING VIOLENT CHILDREN
The consequences of raising violent kids can be so drastic on the long run, let us see some.
• Raising and overlooking the violent act of children is a direct ticket to them loosing parts of their body to fights.
• They will certainly become nuisance to the society as a whole.
• They might one day go physical with you as the parents.
• The society will neglect them as they lack the basic social etiquettes.
• They will loose opportunities in life because of their record of violence.
• They may end up being jailed.
• You will be producing a lot of societal vices.
• As the parents, you will lack peace of mind as they will be bringing troubles everyday back home.
• Promotion of thuggery.
• Lastly, they may engage in a fight that may tend to take their lives.
CONCLUSION
Raising Godly and Violent free children is the sole responsibility of the parents and teachers before having to talk of the environments. As parents and teachers, you owe the society this role and it must be carried out with due diligence. The world is going south because of violence and we should put hands together to curtail this acts from the root.
