INTRODUCTION

Health they say is wealth, many people have been living with this idea since the begining of the modern age. As kids, we should not ignore the health of our brain.
The brain is an organ in the body that helps us think and know what our next move is. Not keeping the brain healthy entails not keeping the whole body safe. Imagine, you in a ship and there's no steering to keep the ship moving, your as good as dead.

I want to bring to the knowledge of our dear kids the importance of making their mental health a priority. This post is aimed at teaching the kids ways of maintaining mental health inorder to live a healthy life.


In life, nothing comes easy. We live in a world where, nobody cares about anybody. Inother words, all man for himself. Kids might think they have it all when the abuse their brain and think that since it is appropriate for them to make use of their brains, they should make sure the abuse it.

THE BRAIN

The brain is one of the most powerful organ in the body. Note I said powerful but not as big as the liver for example. It's work is far more hectic and tedious than other organs in the body. So with this great stat, it needs good care.
Kids with early brain malfunctions start when a child start to stress the brain far more what the brain can handle.

WAYS TO AVOID HAVING RETARDED BRAIN

  1. Avoid listening to loud musical and instrumentals. It's saddening that kids listen to music or instrumentals on the radio set or their phones and the volume is at its peak, thinking they are enjoying themselves. It is bad and in a case where your using earpiece, it is worst. Avoid loud music this might affect your brain cells and cause a wear and tear damage later on in the future.
    We shouldn't forget that the brain coordinate all the activities of the human body so, if any part is bad, it goes a long way to affect the brain in anyway possible.

  2. This one is applicable in boarding schools. Please if you know that your feeling tired or sleepy, and your being forced to read or study,kindly ignore such teacher and go to bed asap, especially when you had a long day. Rest is important for the brain and many kids don't know this. Rest time or sleep time shouldnt be traded for any thing.
    Also some kids game at night till late time, feasting their eyes on the television till they begin to develop headache. This is what leads to brain wearing and having issues.

  3. Take in lots of vitamins and make sure your meal contains the six classes of food. Namely carbohydrates, protein, etc. Good food and nutritional food helps the brain to grow.

  4. Kids should avoid intake of drugs, hard drugs eg cocaine , heroine etc. This is more applicable to the teenagers. Keep distance from this and your brain will be safe. Teenagers that take drugs are viable to have retarded brains

This post will help keep kids in check so as to balance their health both physical and mental health and relate them with their overall wellbeing.
