A Letter to Myself

Hello steemians, I just realized today is the day for posting literature so I got a pen to try out something new. I hope you all love this.

A letter to myself
The earth is just one planet out of many. It's different. It's not the biggest, neither is it the smallest. It is not the closest to the sun, neither does it sit the farthest from the sun. It is just unique, much like you.

It is not the fastest to complete it's orbit, neither is it the slowest. It has its journey, it travels at its own pace.

You are different.
You are unique.
You have to run on your track at your own pace.
Just like our planet. You don't need to slow down or hasten up in order to match anyone else's speed. Move forward at the pace that is just right for you.

Don't get sidetracked by the achievement of others that you feel left behind.

Don't be so focused on another person's path that you fail to see you are making progress. Remember you are not running their race, but yours

Admiring others is good, it shows you appreciate them. But don't let admiration drift into self loathing, where you love others so much that you wish you were them.

And if you don't have the best wears, best gadgets, best house, don't slip into depression.

Give yourself some credit for the wins you've accomplished. Don't belittle them .

Remember there is someone somewhere who would be lucky to be where you are, so be thankful for all you have. Gratitude is a powerful tool that can change your perspective.

Nevertheless, work hard towards achieving your dreams. Don't let contentment turn into complacency.

There are two kinds of people in this life, those that make things happen and those that give excuses.

Be the former and not the later.

Give all you've got into any and every endeavor, no matter how big or small. and never settle for less when you can go for more.
