Today I will write on the computer hard disk (HDD) or SSD which one will get better performance?
🟠 What exactly is a storage device? 🟠
If we talk about hard disk (HDD) and SSD, what will come to mind first? And is there any use at the computer? Hard disk (HDD) and SSD are a type of storage device. Let's see what is the storage device?
Simply put, a storage device is a piece of hardware that can store digital data. Storage devices are used to store data such as images, videos, songs, documents, software etc. Storage devices are of two types, primary storage devices and secondary storage devices.
Primary storage device is RAM. This RAM works very fast and temporarily holds the computer data and all the running programs of the computer while the system unit is on.
On the other hand, secondary storage is hard disk (HDD) and SSD. which is used for long term data storage.
🟠 What is Hard Disk Drive (HDD)? 🟠
A hard disk drive (HDD) is a storage device. A hard disk (HDD), hard disk, hard drive or fixed drive is a data storage device that is used to store and retrieve data later. A hard disk consists of multiple concentric disks. It is called a plate. They are covered with magnetic metal.
🟠 What is Solid State Drive (SSD)?🟠
SSD is the full form of solid state drive. SSD stores data on a computer in the same way as a hard disk drive. SSD is basically a type of computer flash storage system. Its main function is to store information.
🟠 What is the difference between HDD and SSD?🟠
Let's take a look at the differences between HDD and SSD. Which one you use will get more benefits. If you want to store large data then HDD is better for you. But if you want fast performance then SSD is better for you. Compared to HDDs, SSDs are much cheaper. Besides, there are some other differences between these two. Let's explore the differences:
