It's good to be back again in one of the community I love so much. Am glad this beautiful community was selected to be part of the hosting communities for season 6.
The topic before us is quite interesting and engaging, I shouldn't be surprised seeing so many entries, I also fell in love with the topic and decided to drop my entry as well. I hope you find it really interesting.

I would love to introduce this topic by saying parenting is an assignment a divine one at that which goes beyond just giving birth to young ones. The assignment is not only to produce kids but to also ensure that these kids are nurture.
Parent are steward who should give account to the one who has given them the kids to nurture because children are the heritage of the Lord. Having this mentality will help parent give their best.
The joy of becoming a parent actually knows no bounds, it's a feeling that is quite different. You can imagine a man or woman who had live a better part of their lives as single and then eventually coupled up with their "dream spouse".
This alone is one kind of a feeling in the world, at this point they are expecting what makes the home complete, is this feeling not worth more than most beautiful things in the world? Of course yes.

Becoming a parent is a process which I have clearly explained above. You're first single, you marry and then you become a parent when the kids set in. No one is actually regarded as a parent when there are no children to nurture.
Children bring joy and liveliness to the home, let's forget the stress that comes with nurturing them, it just for a phase. If you want to see the opposite of this beautiful feeling, just take out time to check up on those who have been looking for a child since they got married, only then would you know the kind of Joy children bring to their parents.
Parent can do anything for their kids. People even go extra mile catering and taking care of adopted kid. If they can do this for adopted kids, how much more do you think they will do for their very seed.
I will itemize few things I believe parent do for their kids out of the joy of having them around.
- Provision
Parents ensure they provide for their kids and they do this with joy, this to them is like an investment which will yeild in the nearest future. They see to it that basic things like food, clothing and shelter is provided for their kids.
- Education.
They also ensure their kids gets the best of the best when it comes to education. Education is one of the best legacy a parent can give with the child. They also do this for their child/children knowing fully well that this will make them reputable men and women in the society.

- Security.
Anything that gives us joy is usually protected and guarded with all diligence. Parent see to it that thier kid(s) are protected from every form of threat. They take their time to lecture them on things they should avoid, places they should go, what they should eat, how they should relate and the likes. This is to the end that they protected.
- Love.
These kid are shown love so pure and true. It is out of love that every other responsibility a parent have towards the child stems out. Without love for these kid, parent will not be able to go extra mile for them.
- Discipline.
One of the many responsibility parent have towards their children is to correct them. Discipline is not punishment per say, it is an act of molding the kids. This is what true parenting is all about. If a child eventually grows without discipline, he would be a torn in the flesh of the people around.
Oh yes the joy of parenting increases as the child grow. One of the factor that increases this joy is when the child makes the parent proud out there, showing that he has being property taught at home.
Charity they say begins at home. Any child that goes out there and make a mess of himself will automatically bring shame to his/her parent.

Likewise, any child who goes out there and do something beautiful make the parent glad, they will always be happy to identify with such child and they won't also hesitate to keep up with the good work of molding the child to be better.
Another thing that increases this joy is in knowing that their children are making progress daily. No parent wants a child who is a constant failure every parent want champions as children.
I am seriously looking forward to be one very soon. Not like I ready to wed this year...lols. But the truth is every well meaning and responsible fellow out there is expecting to be a parent someday.
It is being responsible that makes you want to bring in another soul into an already existing home. Any man or woman who invited a new child into the family without making adequate plan is absolutely irresponsible.
So I would say I expect the same joy, I love it when I see young flourishing couple with their kid, sometime am like, I wish am this person or that person because of the way they feel about their kids and family. Well the waiting will soon be over...lols.
Nothing will make more happy and fulfilled than seeing my seed doing great in life. It shows we have actually succeeded as parents. If they perform less than we did, I won't be happy because it's the desire of parents to see their children excel and bring glory to the family.
Let me also add this that I would also love to see them produce their seeds. You know, there is another level of joy you experience when your see your children's children and even hear them call you grandpa...lols. Don't mind me,I can be this sarcastic but the truth still remains... Ask your grannies...
No doubt, there is this beautiful and undeniable feeling that comes with parenting. Every well meaning and responsible individual will experience it.
Parenting is not meant to be an overwhelming and burdensome task which many single parent go through maybe as a result of an unfortunate situation.
Parenting was designed for two to make the work less difficult and cumbersome. The kid(s) need both party to be nurtured appropriately.

The joy of parenthood is the joy every individual wishes to experience because it is an awesome experience which worth all the stress of pregnancy period, nursing the children and fulfilling their responsibilities.

Hahaha, you just said it all. We already know the response from our grannies. They feel fulfilled and accomplished having made it that far in life. Their offsprings multiplying which relatively shows progress in the family.
