🔴 What is your 3rd best fruit out of the 4 you love so much?

My Third Best Fruit is Papaya. Sri Lanka is a country that inherits a very fertile environment and a very fertile soil. Due to the warm climate and the lack of water here, many types of fruits grow very easily. Among these, one of the most popular fruits, papaya, is one of the most consumed fruits by Sri Lankans. Sri Lankan people grow papaya in their gardens not only because it is easy to grow or because of its delicious taste. Because there is some knowledge about its goodness.

Papaya has many health benefits. Because of this, many people in the world eat papaya to improve their health. There are 39 calories in 100 grams of papaya. Papaya also contains a significant amount of omega 3 fatty acids that are good for the body. 100 grams of papaya contains 9.8 grams of carbohydrates, of which 1.8 grams are fiber. Apart from this, 5.9 grams of simple sugar are also included in this carbohydrate.

Papaya is a very sweet and delicious fruit. And a healthy fruit. That's why I chose papaya as my third favorite fruit.

🔴 Why do you love this fruit so much? State at least 3 reasons.

Papaya, a fruit rich in vitamin C, contains sucrose, dextrose, malic acid, citrate, pectin etc. In addition, it is rich in nutrients such as vitamins A, B, B2 and iron and calcium. There are many reasons why I love papaya. I will share them with you.

✅ Helps to reduce body weight

A medium sized papaya contains only 120 calories. So if you are struggling to lose weight, don't forget to include papaya in your diet. Due to the high fiber content of papaya, the amount of food taken is also controlled due to the feeling of fullness in the stomach.

✅ Good for eye health

Papaya is rich in vitamin A and flavonoids such as beta-carotene, zeaxanthin, cryptoxanthin and lutein. These keep the mucous membrane of the eye healthy. Vitamin A also keeps the macular healthy. The carotenoids in papaya are absorbed by the body more quickly than those in foods like tomatoes and carrots.

✅ Boosting immunity

One papaya fruit usually contains twice the daily requirement of vitamin C for a person. Therefore, eating papaya provides good support to strengthen the immune system.

✅ Making the digestive process more efficient

According to the current food patterns, it is common to eat foods containing oil and starch which are difficult to digest. Due to this, the health of the digestive system decreases to some extent. By eating papaya daily, the digestive system becomes efficient again. Papain enzyme and fiber contained in papaya help for this.

✅ Papaya preserves youth

By adding papaya to your diet regularly, you can look 5 years younger than your actual age. Papaya contains vitamins C and E, as well as antioxidants such as beta-carotene, which reduce damage to the skin. As a result, skin wrinkles are reduced.

🔴 How easy is it to source this fruit in your locality of city?

Papaya grows well in Sri Lanka. Almost every house has a papaya plant. People grow papaya because papaya is a very delicious and useful fruit. Also, we can buy papaya from fruit shops.

I have also grown papaya in our house. This is the papaya plantation at our house. We eat papaya almost every morning. We also make papaya juice.

🔴 Is it seasonal? And can it be dried and preserved?

Papaya is not a seasonal fruit. This fruit grows everywhere throughout the year. Papayas are available raw or ripe. So we can easily eat this fruit whenever we want. Various curries are made from this raw papaya fruit. You can also make papaya juice.

Some people in Sri Lanka dry papaya and make pickles. And papaya is dried and fried.

🔴 Take some pictures of the fruit you love so much and include a selfie of you with the fruit.

🔴 write a message to that fruit telling it how much you love it.

Dear Papaya,

You don't know how much I like you. As a fruit, you can make curries, papaya juice and jam, and you have many benefits. You are a very sweet, delicious and delicious fruit. It is a useful fruit. I love you very much. And always wish to share the taste with me. @kavi1999.

Yes, I still only pick papaya as my third favorite fruit. I really like those fruits. It's very refreshing. delicious

It is very useful and used as medicine for many diseases. It is also used to make papaya juice and jam. It is a high quality fruit. So I still choose papaya as the third best fruit.
