The Weather Condition in My Locality Nigeria and How I'm Preparing For a Possible Disaster.

Good morning to all kids and parents in this community.

Here is my participation on a Contest The Weather Condition in My Locality(your country)and How I'm Preparing For a Possible Disaster." organized and published by @goodybest.

This season is know to be rainy season, during this period rain always falls unexpectedly, which most time and derail peoples plans and arrangement for the day.

People may have planned for outdoor activities or an important event to attend or organize, but due to the sudden rain, they have to make substitute arrangement or terminate their plans.

It is always frustrating and inconvenient depending on the how individual plans his/her day, it is always advisable to be prepared for such if there is any signal.

What is the weather condition in your locality and how does it affect people's activities?

Yesterdays weather was really bad and affect my area because it was raining throughout the day. And the road was filled with adding to the crisis of bad road that was on ground.

Because of this Poor road conditions it difficult for customers, suppliers and employees to reach the businesses or make their way, This automatically result in the reduction of foot traffic and limited access to my area and resources around here.

This is really affecting businesses around us, because loval vendors around doesn't have customers to patronise them due to limited access to my area.

So today always begin with poor weather condition.

Do You think there's a possibility to cause a Disaster, if Yes how are you preparing for it?

Early in the morning today the weather was somehow sound and bright, but I did need to rely on it or feel nothing will happen because it weather do change and rain unexpectedly, so I decided not to get tricked with the bright begin of the day because it sometimes happens like this only to result with heavy rainfall that will block my way when coming back from work.

HOW I PREPARED FOR IT

Like I said, I don't rely on the weather condition, so i get myself prepared and secured for what ever will be the outcome.

I make sure to remove all my clothes on the drying line before leaving for work so that if it rains my clothes won't get wet.

Before leaving I make sure that my raincoat is with me and my umbrella, so that I won't get drench if it rains, I also have in mind other ways to use if the road I usually take back home is blocked with water.

IN CONCLUSION

I it is important to remember that this season do perform miracles when talking about weather. thefore, it is always advisable to be prepared for such situations by going with umbrellas or raincoats and having backup indoor activities or venues in mind when it happens.
