Meaning Of Hair Bonnet

Before i start my creativity, let me first explain the meaning of hair bonnet for those of us who doesn't know it. A Hair Bonnet is a special cap that are made to be used during sleeping hours to protect and keep the hair. In other words, hair bonnet helps to shield the hair from breakage knots, and moisture loss as you sleep. It is usually made of satin, linen or silk.

Simple Steps On How To Make A Hair Bonnet

I was at my work place thinking of what to create for this week's contest. So, I carried my phone and was skimming through the pictures in my gallery. As this was going on, I saw a picture of a small girl putting on a hair bonnet and it just looked perfect on her. So, I decided to try it out today by making it for my little sister. So here are the few simple steps below;

• Step 1:
Firstly, I had to cut something straight from the material, like 30 inches.

• Step 2:
Then, I went ahead to cut out the shape of the bonnet considering the working length.

• Step 3:
Next, I joined the up part of the bonnet that gave this curve.

• Step 4:
After that, I set my machine on a gathers level and squeeze the up part of it to the actual measurements.

• Step 5:
Next, I went to my table and cut out the bonnet band, ironed it and sewed it round the bonnet.

• Step 6:
Then, I brought my elastic and squeeze it to the exact head measurements which is 21 inches.

• Step 7:
