#Update 63: Writing Expedition ✍🏻 - Write On Thursday

Hi guys.. How are you doing today? I hope things are going as planned? Its another week of the writing expedition. In today's discussion, I will be sharing a very interesting story with you. Just read on;

When There's A Will, There's A Way

Once upon a time, there was a boy named David who had the dream of becoming a medical doctor in future. He had displayed the traits of compassion, love and care to the such time again. He seems to know what to do when someone injures or wound. But, his major challenge was that his parents were too poor to send him to school. Notwithstanding the situation at hand, but David kept on saying that "One day, I shall become a medical doctor".

Years rolled by, days turned into weeks, months, and years, David kept his hope alive and kept on trusting and praying to God to fulfil his dreams. He kept on telling anyone that wishes to listen that he will be a medical doctor soon. Now, he is grown, all hope seemed lost, because he was uneducated, his parents dead, lame, and with no money. However, he was now popularly known as a very compassionate and loving herbal medical healer.

One day, at the age of 22, a new hospital was to be built in his village, the first of its kind and the best in the country. It was actually a federal government project and was handled by white experts. The new gigantic hospital took form in the village. There was one of the construction managers that felt ill and was almost at the verge of dying. The nearest hospital was very far away and could cost the man his life if he was to make it there. So, a villager now recommended them to the medical doctor with traditional medicine. The white man was taken there and within few minutes of treatment and attention with herbal medicine by the young man which is David, the white man was able to stand on his feet again.

Flabbergasted and astonished by such effective and efficient remedy, the white man discovered that the traditional herb used on him was an antidote to a pressing sickness in his country, Europe. It has been an antidote that scientists have been longing to discover. The white man took David and traveled back to Europe and sponsored his education to the highest level. At the age of 38, David had not only become a doctor, but one with a pedegre. Years on, David built a massive hospital in his home town. Indeed, when there is a will, there is always a way.

Moral Lessons:

• Never give up on achieving your dreams and goals in life.
• Never loose hope.
• Always be catious, be on track and never miss your opportunity, because opportunity they say, comes but only once.
• Always be determined to accomplish your goals like David did in the story above.
