Good day friends.. how are you doing? I trust everything is going smoothly.. its my delighted to welcome you to this contest and also see you visit my blog post. In today's discussion, am going to be talking about the Causes of social evils in my country. My participation is below;

Causes Of Social Evils In Nigeria

Social evils are crimes and anti-social conducts in the society. In Nigeria today, such social evils are been manifested in the forms of armed robbery, child-trafficking, kidnapping, rape, bullying, and other acts of violence,etc. Unemployment and poverty are the most dangerous causes of these evils in Nigeria. People, especially our youths who are unemployed or in the webs of poverty are experiencing hardship and discomfort. So, inorder to secure their meabs of survival, they indulge theirselves in armed robbery offences, bribery, corruption, assasination and even kidnapping.

Another serious cause of social evils is drug addiction. Once you are addicted to drug, you start to involve yourself in many different offences like rape, bullying, gangster battles,etc. This is mostly done by our youths. A drug addict is emotionally unstabled and therefore capable of unleashing violence characters anywhere at anytime.

There are many solutions of tackling the causes of social evils in my country. Firstly, our government should create proper job opportunities for the youths. Self-employed jobs should be encouraged too through the process of skill-acquisition. Secondly, government should initiate the drug agencies to check the use of drugs, as well punished those individuals who misuse drugs and other related offences.

In conclusion, a sound religious enlightment should be promoted among the Christians and Muslems. Their should be respect for human co-existence. So, with all these, they can enable us to tackle the causes of evils in Nigeria.
