Greetings to you and welcome to my post again friend. I sincerely appreciate Steemkids Community for organizing the contest titled: "Childhood or adulthood, which do you prefer? which I have participated 👇 as you can see it below.
Who is considered as a child in your country? Include age
The word "Child" has several definition to suit the areas which the definition is required. For example, Nigeria constitution which is section 29(4) of the 1999 defines a child as any person in Nigeria that is under the age of 18years.
I believe that is the same thing that other countries may considered as a child. Okay friend, in Nigeria a child is any human-being that is below the age of 18 years who comes into contact with the law of Nigeria or being suspected for committing crime.
In Nigeria once a person is still 17 years old he/she is considered as a child in the country even if you're 17 years and 11 months in Nigeria you will still be considered as a child until you get to the age of 18 years.
Furthermore, in Nigeria there is "Child's Rights" Act of 2003" that provides a child with more rights like every other adults in the country that is 18 years and above. The child Right Act of 2003 in Nigeria is the law that guarantees the rights and protection of every child (i.e children) in Nigeria so their cannot be molested by anyone.
The right is what provides the protection, care well-being and social right of every child in Nigeria. So therefore, in Nigeria any person that is less than 18 years (i.e under 18) is considered as a child. In a nutshell, a child in Nigeria is considered as someone who fall under the age of 1 - 17years.
Who is considered as an adult in your country? Include age
The word "Adult" has several definition just as the word Child and the definition of adult is best suit as to the area of life that is required. In Nigeria any person that is 18 years and above, is considered as an adult. In the aspect of adult in Nigeria, it's accepted that a boy or girl who has attain 18 years and above, has automatically becomes an adult in Nigeria.
Adult simply means someone who can takes care of his/herself (i.e someone that is independent). Well in Nigeria, I think the issues of an adult is far different what is practice abroad, because in abroad an adult means someone that is independent, he/she can decide to stay on his/her parents house or can decide to own his/her own house and even choose to get marry, nor even sue someone for a crimes committed which is totally not like that in Nigeria.
In the context of Nigeria, it's very differ because someone who is at the age of 18 years can't decide for his/herself even if you own a house nor try to get marry many will called it child abuse vice versa. Please don't take my jokes so serious but it is the truth.
In a nutshell, a person that is 18 years and above is considered as an adult in my beloved country Nigeria.
Childhood or Adulthood, which do you prefer?
Childhood is what I prefer than Adulthood. Childhood is a very sweet stage in life where everything that i do was taking care of by my parents, brothers and sisters including friends. At my childhood I expressed myself a lot and my voice was heard loud as the things that I needed then was urgently provided for me. Infact during my childhood, I was treated like an egg (gold) which makes me to prefer childhood than adulthood which is everyman for himself stage.
Give at least 3 reasons why you prefer childhood or adulthood
There are several reasons as to why I prefer childhood than adulthood which I have already pointed out some of them above. However below are still 4 notable reasons as to why I prefer childhood than adulthood.
During my childhood, I was lucky to be treated so well by my parents and neighbors and I was given a more caring and secured life as a child.
My demands were been guaranteed with immediate effect.
In my childhood I don't feel any worries. All I had to do was just to study my books, eat plenty of foods, play around and sleep without doing any house chores.
In my childhood most things I do was taking care of by my parents and I do feel loved by anyone I came across.

Looking at the images above, are two of my childhood pictures that was taken when I was 16yesrs old. Looking at the pictures you can see how i was been taken care of by my parents. Then by parents bought me a phone, mp3 radio, water game and several toys as a child.

Looking at the pictures above, are my adulthood pictures which shown how grown I am and how I have been taking good care of myself as I am now a man.
In conclusion, both my childhood and adulthood are great for me but the fact is that my adulthood is full with much experience and learning than my childhood which I thought everything would become rosy as it used to be when I was growing up as a child. Thank you for stopping by friend.

Thank you for sharing your opinion with us. Most people prefer childhood because of the enjoyment we receive while we were children. As a child, your parents will always want to certify your wishes and grant your requests. But as adults, you care about yourself.

Childhood is always the best because, everything you need will be provided you don't need to think or worry your self about life but once you an adult more responsible will be added for you. That is why some people will say adulthood na scam🤣

Childhood is a much easy option to go for as we are all irresponsible at the age🥰.

Undoubtedly, childhood days are remarkably a great stage of life, we all enjoy that time. I guess I prefer adulthood with abundance of resources. Adulthood would be sweet if we have these resources satisfactorily. I'm glad to read your entry, @josepha.
First I thank you for stopping by am contributing to my post. Honestly, adulthood is still better most especially for those that are born with silver spoon as people used to said.
