House chores are what keep kids busy at home. While growing up as a kid my parents would always ensure everyone at home has done his or her house chores that are assigned to him or her before going out.

Then there are some house chores that I would always want to do so I could go out and play with my friends or begin playing my PS Game. In this post, I have discussed what house chores mean, the one I enjoy most, and my advice to kids about house chores. Happy Reading...

House chores are domestic tasks such as cooking, washing, cleaning, ironing clothes, feeding animals, etc that are done regularly at home. In a nutshell, house chores mean the work we do at home that makes a home look beautiful.
In most homes where there are children house chores are shared among them where you see the girl child be in charge of cooking, fetching water, and washing plates, whereas the boys are in charge of cleaning and ironing clothes.
Everyone must have done one or two house chores today before going out to work, which I see house chores as a way of keeping our home well clean before engaging in other activities. As a guy, I enjoy doing house chores, and I often wake up very early in the morning to do my house chores before stepping out of my house.

In my house several house chores are done house no matter how far my brothers and sister have done our house chores there are still house chores that are a continued process that never come to an end.
Daily dressing of bed and bedroom is done everyday at night in my house. However, besides dressing in the bedroom which involves returning all plates and cups to the kitchen and putting dirty clothes in the appropriate place, we still do the aforementioned house chores before going to bed in my house.
- Washing dishes (plates) after each meal in this harmattan season
- Removing our shoes each time we went to enter inside house.
- Cleaning of messes like spices of food scraps in the kitchen, spills, and hair in the bathroom,
- Preparing meal.

Myself preparing mealAs a chef, I like preparing meals and the reason why I like preparing meals is that I enjoy eating whatever that is prepared by me. This morning when I woke up after cleaning the house I went straight to the kitchen and began preparing meal I had eaten before going out this morning.
I do spend my time in the kitchen preparing meals, and I like preparing my meals to my taste which I enjoy doing the most. A good chef would always want to exhibit the habit of cooking which is exactly what I am doing in my house.

I also enjoy cleaning the house, because I enjoy staying in a house that is well clean and cool.
Being at home, I don't like seeing flies or coming across any dirty something which is the reason why I enjoy cleaning as a house chores because if I should do the cleaning myself I would be satisfied that the house is clean enough for me to stay in.

House chores are so important to me and my family because it helps me and my family to put every upkeep item on autopilot (trash). House chores also help me and my family to ensure that everything we do is done fast so everyone can go about their work.
With house chores everywhere in the house is kept clean and it brings about conversation in my family and makes everyone in the house understand the importance of helping one another.
In my family, if am been giving house chores that I may not be able to do at the moment, I will beg either my brother or sister to help me and do it with a promise of assisting the person or buying something for the person.

To kids about chores, my advice to you is that you should take your house chores very seriously and do whatever house chores your parents have assigned to you with pride. House chores make you stronger in life and they give you the ability to be able to take good care of yourself when you have become an adult.
House chores build you to become a man of yourself. If you're doing your house chores now, you will not find any difficulties when you might have gained admission to an institution of higher learning. In conclusion, take all your house chores seriously and do them with joy.

It's good to always arrange your bedroom after sleep, and also washing the dishes, dirty clothes, sweeping the house and most importantly cooking are the chores that are done in your home and I am very happy to hear about it.
