Hello, my Steemit friends in the house, greetings to you, and welcome to my contest post, in which I have answered the contest hints given by @udyliciouz concerning over-populated or underpopulated.
What is the population?
Population is the total number of people living in a particular geographical area. In other words, population is the total number of people that are staying in a place like here in Nigeria, where our population is 200 million or more.
What are the basic units of population?
The basic units of population are the total number of people that are counted as living in a country and its size. This means the basic units of population are the total number of people that have been counted, the size, and the land mass of the place.
State five factors you think affect population growth in your country.
The five factors that I think affect population growth in Nigeria are listed below.
- Deaths
- War
- Crisis
- Lack of jobs
- Insecurity
What are the possible problems of overpopulation?
The problems of overpopulation are that it increases unemployment and causes hunger among the people living in the overpopulated country. When a country has too many people, it causes the people to suffer since there would be a shortage of food and an unemployment rate.
Explain at least three ways in which the population can be controlled.
The population can be controlled in the following ways:
Education: By educating people about the impact of having many children and how to maintain themselves, it can help control the population.
Reduction in Childbearing: Population can be controlled through childbearing. In a country where the citizens have limited numbers of children they can give birth to, it can help control the population.
Job Creation: In a country where there are jobs, it would reduce the population. The time a youth may spend chasing women who can later get an unwanted pregnancy would be reduced if they had jobs in the country.
Do you know the population of Steemit users? Can you estimate?
No, ooh, I don't know the population of Steemit users. Although I think the estimated number of users posting on Steemit is 1.7 million,
Over-populated or underpopulated, which one is better?
Underpopulation is better than overpopulation. When a country is underpopulated, the citizens will tend to enjoy what they have, as the resources will reach everyone and there won't be shortages of food or unemployment in the country. I am inviting, @yakspeace, and @entity01

Overpopulation has no advantages. Only disadvantages dear.
