Drawing Challenge for Week #10: Draw a pair of Rabbit

Hello members of steemkids community, i am happy to join in this week's drawing challenge contest usually organized by @eliany. For this week, we are drawing a pair of rabbit.

But first, let me brief you about rabbits.

Describe a rabbit

A rabbit is mainly a domestic animal, but sometimes you may see wild rabbits too. We have different breeds of rabbits, and the breeds come in different sizes too. The rabbit has a good sense of hearing and smell. The rabbit has front teeth that are sharp, yet despite how sharp it is, it cannot make as much impact as the bite of a dog.

Rabbits are usually clean animals to keep as pets. Rabbits have short tails and two ears that are also long. The legs are long and strong. It does not cost much to keep rabbits as pets. You just need a small box as their little house and so its their maintenance too. It costs less to maintain them unlike keeping dogs as pets.

What qualities does a rabbit possess?

Rabbits possess good qualities. They like interaction within themselves which means that they are social animals and love socializing a lot. That's why they live in groups. If you watch them closely, you will observe that they show affection too. They are known to be calm animals and that is why they try hard to avoid confrontations.

Sometimes, if they are not happy, they might destroy something in your house if you are not careful.

Have you seen one before? If yes, where?

I usually see rabbits around my area. Some of my neighbours keep them as pets. I see when they feed them and they usually feed them grasses. They are caring, they take care of their young ones, but when they are giving birth, you must be around to assist them, if not the babies might die. I also see other species of rabbits on television while watching cartoons.

Are they important to Man?

Rabbits are useful to man. First and foremost, they serve as meat for man. Those who keep rabbits as pets, when they become more productive and increase in their number, the owners kill some and use as meat. The meat is very delicious to eat. I also observed that rabbits are used for research in labs.

First i drew the head of the rabbits

Then i drew the body without the tails

Step 3

Then i added the tails

Step 4

Then i colored the rabbits. It came out finally like this.
