My Pictures, My Memories Contest WK #08👉My Picture Album Is Safe With Steem.

Good day everyone, it’s my utmost pleasure to partake in the week 08 of this contest, this is actually almost my second week on steemit, and I must say I am overjoyed and honoured to partake in this wonderful contest.
I sure have lots of pictures with beautiful moments which I would love to save here, because I sure know my pictures are safe with steem, but I will be sharing just 3 for now which the contest guidelines permit. Please join me on the short journey.

Firstly, a few years back and shortly before I graduated from the University, we had a program at church and that day was old school Sunday, with white and black as the dress code, so I and my friends decided to put in our best in the little way we can to fit into this theme, it was really a fun day. And guess what? We had the opportunity to take some pictures after that service, and one of my friends stood out because of what he wore inside his shirt to make his tummy look big, Lol.
Asides the above, I would also be sharing two other pictures, of which one was the first day I sang at church during a service, and the other was taken on the best day of my life, which was when I did my traditional wedding with my beautiful wife.

The picture above was taken on a Sunday, just shortly after the old school Sunday service at about 10:15am outside a church I use to attend at my University in Benin Republic Cotonou, we were all in a very happy mood, and we decided that taking this picture will always remind us of this special moment together.
The guy who took the photo asked that we all gave a different pose and we all sprang into action immediately before the picture was taken. And the part of this picture that cracks me up every time is my friend Favour on the far right with the costume of a big tummy lol, he made us all laugh so hard throughout that day especially when he also changed his style of walking for the day to suite his big tummy costume. I am truly happy this contest gave me the opportunity to save this picture here😊.

This picture above was also taken on a Sunday too, but this time at a different location, at a church branch I attended while I was residing at Ojodu Berger here in Lagos. Honestly I was really nervous that day lol. I usually play the piano for those who sing, but shortly before this day I was told and instructed by my superior that I was to lead a ministration song that day, I almost asked the ground to swallow me after this instruction😄, because at that time I could barely face the crowd and I also couldn’t turn down or disobey the instruction I was given, so I had to do this being very nervous lolz, but along the line I gained courage, and since then I have been more confident to also sing at other branches. I am glad to be able to save this here too, because I won’t forget this day in a hurry, lolz.

Picture No. 3

I have had many beautiful memories, but this day stands out amongst the rest, because this was the day I officially paid all the traditional rights and got married to my heart’s treasure on the 6th of November 2021. I honestly was filled with so much joy as did my wife too, and could you guess what was on my mind while I looked at her and smiled so hard in the above picture? Well, I said I feel so lucky and blessed to have her. And it is a day I will always treasure for the rest of my life😊.
