My Ways Of Improving My Family Health.

I bring warm greetings to all the kids and parents in the house. It is said that health is the greatest wealth on earth. The first time i heard that statement, i argued it within myself. I was like how can health be the greatest wealth?. After some days, i watched a certain video and a question was asked.

The question is, if you are to be given billions of dollars and die the next day, would you accept? The answer is NO to me. That was the moment i accepted that truly health is wealth. As such, anything worth maintaining our health is worth doing. Before i talk about things a do for a healthy, i do appreciate @goodybest for the amazing contest.


Things i normally do to improve my health and that of my family.


There are many activities that when involved, will help towards maintaining health as it strengthens and nourish the body. Some of this activities also help in preventing some diseases and give more balance to the body steem. Below i will discuss of the activities i normally observe to maintain my health.

Balance diet

It is not a news that we have various classes of food. Each of the class has a certain function in the body. For instance, carbohydrates gives energy, while protein helps in building the body. Our body needs all the classes of food to be able to have fitness. As such, it is unhealthy to eat one food always without change. Having this knowledge has made me to observe my diet. With that, i have more assurance of good health.

Exercise

Exercise is one of the activities that helps in keeping the body fit. There are minor diseases that exercise can combat because exercise keeps the immune system more active. It also helps in maintaining and reducing weight. As such, i go out everyday by 5:00 am for exercise.

Healthy relationship

The kind of people we relate with also have effect on our health. For instance, if you stay around people that hurt you always, there is a high tendency that you will loose you happiness. And lack of happiness can lead to some deadly disease. As such,it is good to stay around people that make you happy. That is more reason i love to stay around friends to catch fun.

Quality sleep

Quality sleep is as important as any other thing when it comes to maintaining health. Good sleep helps in making us emotionally, mentally, physically, and psychologically fit. Ideally, it is good to have a sleep of 8 hours a day. As such, i don't joke with my sleeping hours because that's one of the things that keeps me healthy.


Conclusion


Health is the most important in human life. If it is to be bought with money, dead could have lost it powers over life. Unfortunately, reverse is the case, as we all can live only once. As such, it is advisable to cherish and maintain the one life we have.

Being around healthy relationship is infact therapeutic. I agree with you that some relationship can be really toxic and stressful.

I agree with you also on having a good sleep as it is therapeutic.

@ishayachris, You are right health is wealth. To maintain this health we should eat all types of food. from there, we can get our essential vitamins proteins minerals etc. Your presentation is very goood . I wish you all the best.
